Draco

Hermione and I finished the bag, just a few little charms to make sure all the other ones would stay. When we were finished, I gave Hermione a quick tour of the safe house, and showed her where she could put her things. About a half an hour later, we all gathered in the living room again, and started finalizing the first part of our plan. That was the only one that really had any detail, because we had no idea where any of the horcruxes were, so we couldn't plan specifically about that. We just had general ideas of what we would do.

Part one was the wedding. We had to go, as Ron had put it, "because it's my brother's wedding, and if we don't show up my mother will flay me alive."

We all started to pack up our things, and put everything we would need in the beaded bag, just in case we couldn't make it back to the safe house. In a couple hours, we were walking out past the enchantments, and we're ready to leave for "the Burrow" as Harry had told me it was called. We all joined hands, and I felt the familiar squeezing feeling, and suffocation, then we were there. On top of a hill?

"Burrow's a ten minute walk that way." Ron said, pointing east, "had to move the apparition point farther away for safety purposes."

We set off, and once we'd gotten to a field, I started to see it, and realized why it was called the Burrow. It was nothing like my old mansion. I had hated it there, it felt cold all the time, somehow I felt distant from it, like I was always a stranger in my own home. My parents never would have come within a mile of this place, but to me, I could see how someone would call this home.

As we get closer, I can see it in more detail, windows in odd places, rooms sticking out every which way, and how the whole thing looked like it could topple over at any moment, held up only by magic.

"This is amazing." I say, truthfully.

Ron looks surprised, seeming to question whether I was being sarcastic or not, then said, "Yeah, but it's probably nothing compared to the Malfoy Manor."

I squint, blocking my eyes from the sun, looking away from him. "I fucking hated that place, it was always silent, cold, I constantly felt like an intruder in my own house. It was old, and dark, and fucking creepy."

"Don't worry, you'll be welcomed here. Can't guarantee Fred or George won't hex you once, but then they'll be okay."

I laugh. "I would be surprised, and slightly offended if they didn't hex me. Their joke business is amazing, even the Slytherins thought it was cool, we used them all the time, though the assholes would never admit it."

Ron laughs a bit at that. "We're here." he then says, pushing open the gate.

Mrs. Weasley comes out, and hugs Harry, Ron, and Hermione. I hang back slightly, awkwardly not sure of my place, then Mrs. Weasley walks towards me, and looks me over. Her eyes start to water, and she hugs me tightly. I think the only time my mother ever hugged me was when I was a baby, or maybe she just had the nanny do it. I have never had a hug like this. It was so full of love, even though Mrs. Weasley had never met me before, and had probably only ever heard horrible things about me. Mrs. Weasley pulls away, looks me in the eyes, and says, "You're welcome here anytime, dear."

"Thank you." I reply, astounded by her kindness towards me.

Harry

We get settled in, Ron and I giving Draco a quick tour. Draco looks at everything, taking in every inch of the place, seeming in awe of every little detail. We finally make it up to Ron's room, where we're all going to be staying.

Ron and Draco are chatting, so I go to find Ginny. I know that the road ahead won't be easy, and we won't be able to stay in contact with anyone when we're hunting down the horcruxes. I know that I might die, I know the danger I'm walking into. I need to know that everyone I care about will be as safe as they can be, and me being connected with them will put their lives in danger. I know that after this, even if we survive, things will never be the same.
