The sun was shining bight on the sea below, and in the waters were a peaceful school of fish...well...till someone comes in to have lunch. Yup! It's Scuttle alright! Scuttle was just getting lunch for herself until she heard voices calling for her.
"SCUTTLE!!!!"
"SCUTTLEEEEEE"
Scuttle finally looked up from her snacks and just saw 2 blurry figures coming near her.
"AHHH WHAT THE HECK, WHO IS THAT???" Scuttle said. She really couldn't tell who the 2 figures it was until they swam closer.
"Oh hey Marinette! Hey Tikki!" Scuttle said with excitement in her voice! She loves to hangout with these two and could talk about almost anything all day (even if the conversations are usually about human things). As soon as she got a good look at Marinette, she knew exactly what she was going to ask her.
"Let me guess...you found more human artifacts didn't you?" Scuttle said with a playful smirk.
"You know me very well Scuttle! But really look!" Marinette pulls out the fork so Scuttle could get a good view. "Do you know what it is?" When Marinette asked she held onto the fork and was tracing it with her fingers to get a good feel. Something about it had Marinette's gaze stuck onto the fork but she couldn't make the connection as to why she felt that way.
Scuttle took the fork gently out of Marinette's hands and said "Oh I know what it is!!! See, this is called a dingle-hopper! Humans use these baby's to style there hair! You just gotta give a twirl and there." In the process of showing Marinette what is was and how to use the fork (even tho it's wrong) Scuttle did end up pulling some feathers out of her head. Marinette and Tikki couldn't help but laugh at Scuttle. While Marinette was laughing she accidentally dropped the other item she found not too long that she was going to show Scuttle but didn't even notice until she heard someone say
"OWWW"
All three stop laughing and looked at the bottom beneath them and saw Sebastian. Let's just say Sebastian was not in a good mood.
"MARINETTE!?!"
Marinette felt nervous that she was caught in the act with the human things and with Scuttle because she knew that Sebastian knows why she goes to she Scuttle in the first place. All Marinette could say in the moment breaking the silence was "sorry Sebastian!".
"Marinette what are you doing here, you knew your not supposed to be playing with things like this or being with the bird brain over here."
"Nice to see you too Sebastian..." Scuttle mumbled to herself but loud enough for everyone to hear.
"Oh Sebastian, it's not a big deal!"
"Oh really?? Then why are you not at the coral moon meeting with your father and sisters??"
Marinette's mood felt like it had just flipped to being happy and curious to worry and fear of what her father will have to say to her absence.
"Oh my gosh I completely forgot!"
"HOW?!? I TOLD YOU 3 TIMES TODAY YOUNG LADY! DID YOU NOT LISTEN TO ME AT ALL?!???" Sebastian was already annoyed from the start but he hated how he was doing his job and how Marinette was just never cooperating with him.
"I'm sorry Scuttle I have to go, let's go Tikki!"
"It's ok kid I have to go to I'm running out of air"
Just like that, Marinette swam as fast as her fins could take her to the castle and hoping she doesn't get punished from her father.
Sorry I haven't been updating, I honestly forgot about this story and to clear of confusion this will be based from the live action version so this might contain spoilers for those who have not seen the new version yet! Bye for now ~ Ariii <3
