Lost senses

Tikki had a huge surprise for Marinette in her grotto so she quickly swam to look for Marinette and found her playing with little seahorses with her fingers. And she was humming her beautiful siren song.

"Mhm mhm"

"Marinette!!!"

"Yes Tikki?"

"I have a surprise for you in the grotto!"
Marinette's eyes lit up and was excited to see what her best friend got her.

They got to the grotto and made sure they weren't followed. "Tikki why won't you just tell me?" They swam through the little tunnel and didn't know there was also another surprise.

"Because it's a surp-" Tikki and Marinette gasped and stood in their place and saw a mysterious figure. The figure moved closer and it was the sea king.

"You broke the rules you went to the above world." Triton stood there with a disappointed face. Marinette's eyes with a glaze of sadness looked down and said "there was a ship wreck" It took Marinette to not break down and have to courage to tell him "a man was drowning I had to save him."

"Why? They are savages,You should've let him drown"

"You don't know that"

"They killed your mother"

Marinette felt guilty but still said "I know"

"But...one man did, why blame every human?"

"I-"

Marinette was cut off with a cold tone from her father

"Nope, that's enough"

"Father, Adrien had nothing to do with it"

"Adrien?"
He came closer to Marinette as if he needed to hear it more clearly.

"Father you should've heard him! He's kind and compassionate!" Triton could tell his daughter was head over fins for him.

"Have you lost your senses completely? HES A HUMAN YOUR A MERMAID!"
That's when Marinette decided to stand up for herself.

"THAT DOESNT MAKE US ENEMIES!"

It took a second before Marinette exposed herself completely.

"FATHER I LOVE HIM!"

"Promise me you will never go up to the surface again for this boy"

"Father I can't do that"

Now it felt like Marinette was testing his temper.
"Promise me Marinette..."

Marinette nods her head no
"Father I can't lie to you..."

And with that, King Triton did not hesitate to ruin her life's work of human treasures.

"FATHER DONT-"

Everything was blasted left and right and the kings anger taking over while destroying everything. When he was done Marinette and Tikki couldn't believe what had happened. Marinette standing there crying which slowly turned into sobs. She swam to her now bent up dingle-hopper and held it close to her chest.

"Thank you for the information Sebastian."

Marinette turned her head to see the crab slowly come out of the shadows to reveal himself and looked at Marinette. Marinette not wanting to deal with him or anyone she laid down and turned so she wasn't facing him, she started to sob again.

"Marinette I-"

"Just go away"

With that Sebastian and Tikki both left the grotto and left Marinette all by herself...or so she thought.
