The next Wednesday, my nurse (Jenny) escorted me to the funeral. By funeral, I mean pool of tears dedicated to my parents. The warm and sunny weather didn't exactly match the mood. It was very sad. Everyone from our neighbors to dentists to my best friends came to the funeral.
When it was time to eat, I wasn't very hungry. I said a prayer for God to take good care of my mom and dad. Hopefully He heard me.
After everything, I was given a bouquet of flowers from the coffins. They won't stay alive for long, just like some other people I knew. Maybe I'll press the flowers so they will keep longer.
Jenny took me back to the hospital in her mini van. When we get back, she keeps asking me if I'm okay and if I need company or anything. She is nice, but I don't feel comfortable talking about this with her. For dinner, she brings me roast and a piece of chocolate cake. Notice she brings me food instead of me going to the cafeteria. She is trying too hard to make me feel better. It's getting on my nerves.
