"Guess who's here," greeted Jenny, coming in my room.

"Beyoncé!" I retorted sarcastically.

"I wish, but no. It's... drumroll please...Lyndon!" She announced. He walked in the door, with shades on, acting like a movie star.

"Whoo hoo," I said. Again, sarcastically. I tried to hide my smile but gave up three seconds later. I was really glad he was here.

"Hey, kid. How you doing?" Asked Lyndon.

"Better now that you're here. This place is so boring," I moaned.

"What if I told you I'm going to take you to a Newsboys concert?"

"Really? When? Oh, I don't care. Thank you, thank you, thank you!" If you don't know, the Newsboys are an amazing Christian band. I've never seen them in concert before. I'm so excited!

"Kaniya, we're leaving in an hour and a half. Wear something nice. We'll get out of here so you can change." Said Jenny. With that, Jenny and Lyndon left the room.

I hobbled over to my small dresser and picked out an outfit for the concert. I picked black skinny jeans, a plain black T-shirt, a white pull-over hoodie, and my black and white flat billed hat with an orange cross on it, and put them on.

I opened the door and gestured for Jenny and Lyndon to come back in. "Kaniya, do you want to bring the wheelchair with us or just crutches?" Asked Jenny.

"Crutches," I said matter-of -factly. I can walk a little but still need to be cautious of my healing feet and legs.

*************

I sang every song loud and clear at the concert. It was great to be here. It's great that so many people came here to sing about and worship God.

Lyndon was very nice to pay for my ticket and bring me to this concert. I thanked him a million times when we got back. He is very nice. Jenny is lucky.
