FIRST-PERSON POV:
There I was, standing in front of yet another store. But this time Megumi and Itadori were with me.

Gojo had decided to treat us all that morning before we went to pick up Nobara from the station.

He told us that we could buy anything from the store as long as it was within a 2000 yen limit each. He then strode off to a nearby cafe himself, saying that he needed a bit of a break himself.

As much as I was excited to spend the money and buy cool things from the store, something held me back. Must be the PTSD from my last visit to a store.

Megumi nudged my arm a little. "Hey, Gojo-sensei told us about your entrance exam kinda thing. Don't worry, there aren't any hidden curses in there that he wants us to fight, alright?" He paused for a moment, "...I think."

I looked at him with an awkward smile, "Ah, so you know about that." I scratched my cheek. "It's not that. I just...my stomach still hurts after all the junk food I ate last night. So I'm rethinking if I wanna buy something." I half-lied.

It was true that the whole bag of snacks I ate while binge-watching movies last night was now a nuisance to my stomach. But at the same time, that wasn't the main reason why I didn't want to enter the store.

"Oh, I see." Megumi said casually. "Well, you can just buy other things from here then."

"Oh, okay. I'll see what I can find." I said, feeling another pair of eyes on me.

I spun my head around to find Itadori curiously looking at me. Though, as soon as we made eye contact, he immediately looked away.

'Hmm... that's out of character for him.' I noticed that he was unusually quiet. I decided not to think about it too much.

I wanted to talk to him casually for the first time but I didn't wanna make him uncomfortable too so I chose not to say anything at that moment.

"Come on, let's go." Megumi announced, diverting my attention.

Building up the courage, I finally stepped into the store. It was much bigger than the first one. It had a lot more things in it too so I decided to check out the video game aisle.

Japanese stores really were something. The shelves were arranged in a very organized and efficient manner which made it very easy to navigate things. The aisles looked clean and had a very fresh scent to them. Calm music also played in the background, creating a very cozy environment.

There were a lot of cool-looking video games in the section. There were many varieties to choose from. From shooter games to action games to puzzle games, you could find everything there. But what mainly caught my eye were the RPG games.

There were two of them which looked particularly interesting so I picked them up and examined them.

As I was contemplating on which video game I should buy, out of the corner of my eye, I caught a glimpse of some familiar pink hair. But as soon as I turned my head around to see them clearly, they disappeared.

"Itadori-kun, is that you?" I questioned, a little loudly so he could hear me.

I waited a few seconds and no one came into the aisle, so I turned my attention back toward the predicament at hand, which was to decide which game I should buy.

ITADORI'S POV:

I quickly ducked behind the shelf as (Last Name) called my name.
