Presence.

THIRD-PERSON POV:
The three first-years cleared out a few of the rooms on the lower floors. Itadori did most of the work though. (Name) was too lost in thought to scan the rooms completely, thinking of how she would exorcise the curses she would next encounter and Nobara just strolled through the halls like she owned the place.

The building itself had a very silent atmosphere, to the point where it was quite...eerie. The only sounds to be heard were the squeaks and stomps of the jujutsu sorcerers' shoes.

The whole 'creepy abandoned building' look plus the whole cemetery near it, no wonder people thought this place was haunted. As a result of that, curses were roaming around this place, ready to pounce on the next unsuspecting bypasser.

On the other hand, this was a perfect place for the newly admitted first-years to gain first-hand experience of this jujutsu sorcery stuff.

Although right now, the three of them were doing their jobs quite...questionably.

While the others walked ahead investigating the rooms, (Name) stayed a bit behind, still lost in her thoughts.

'Okay, so I can sense three different curses in the building right now.' (Name) began to think. It was a very weird feeling, y'know, being able to perceive the presence of these cursed beings. (Name) wasn't used to it at all. After all, it had only been a few days since she arrived in this world. She wondered if all jujutsu sorcerers felt this malicious presence wherever they went.

'We'll encounter two of them when Nobara comes across the room they're in and the other one, I can just let Itadori handle it.' (Name) thought to herself. She was trying her best to remember all the key details from this part of the anime so that she could devise a plausible plan and act on it when the time came.

'So I'll just follow Nobara to where she goes and then help her exorcise the curses there.' (Name)'s pace came to a sudden stop.

'...would that be okay though?' A worried look made its way onto her face as she descended deeper into her state of pondering.

'I'm scared it'll mess things up somehow. After all.....I'm not even supposed to be here.'

'...'

'Aghh! No!!' (Name) shook her head furiously, trying to get rid of the thought. 'You're overthinking again (Name)!'

Bloop, who had been sticking his head out of the utility bag to survey the building, looked up at the h/c-haired girl with confusion and a slight bit of concern.

(Name), catching sight of her small friend, absently reached her hand to pat him. After enjoying a few of her head pats, Bloop decided that he shouldn't just ignore it.

Bloop jumped on top of (Name)'s hand, making her let out a surprised gasp, and then scurried up her arm and made his way onto her shoulder.

(Name) just blinked at his actions, wondering about what he wanted to do. But she didn't even get the chance to question him since it was his job to do that right now.

Bloop narrowed his eyes at (Name) with a questioning look. He knew something was up with his human friend, he just had to figure out what.

(Name), seeing Bloop's suspecting expression, knew she had been caught. She let out a defeated sigh and mumbled just loud enough for the two of them to hear. "Okay, okay, you've got me alright. I'm just feeling a bit...complicated." She lowered her head.
