Everyone around the table stood up and clapped their hands, congratulating both Y/N and Aemond. Aegon was disappointed, shaking his head in disbelief and chugging more wine down his throat.

"A good choice, my girl." Rhaenyra said, hugging her daughter and secretly hoped that Y/N would choose Aemond and she did.

"Thank you, mother." Y/N said, pulling back from the hug then hugging her father.

Y/N then saw Aemond with his mother behind Rhaenyra to which she turned to face them.

"Congratulations, Princess Y/N, I'm sure you'll make an excellent wife to my beloved son one day and him, an excellent husband to you." Alicent said, smiling widely.

"I thank you, Your Grace." Y/N said, bowing her head.

"Thank you as well, Princess Rhaenyra for accepting my proposal." Alicent continued, giving her childhood friend a smile.

Rhaenyra nodded out of respect and smiled back. To be honest, she was quite happy for her daughter and also knew that Aemond would definitely make a much better husband than Aegon.

"Congratulations to you, dear princess. You and my grandson will make a fine queen and consort one day and your future children as well. " Otto said, walking towards his daughter and grandson.

"Oh, erm. I thank you, my lord." Y/N said, bowing her head a bit to Ser Otto.

"I think it would be best if we were to reside in our quarters right now." Daemon said, after a very awkward silence.

"Indeed, I am feeling quite tired right now." Viserys spoke up.

People started to leave the dining hall mostly in pairs. Baela, Rhaena, and Helaena walked hand in hand. Jace and Luke were carrying baby Joffrey. Viserys, Otto, and Alicent went outside together. Y/N, Rhaenyra, and Daemon left together, leaving Aegon and Aemond behind.

"You coming, brother?" Aemond asked Aegon as he stood up drunkly.

"Shez mine, vrother!" Aegon yelled, holding up the glass of wine he was drinking. "Y/N will
ve mine!"

Aemond rolled his eyes at his brother, taking his arm and wrapping it around his shoulder. He dragged Aegon across the halls and up the stairs. Aegon murmured random things like She's mine or I will marry her.

Aemond finally reached Aegon's quarters, he pushed him in there, muttered a small good night and closed the door, not wanting to hear more of Aegon's drunk ramblings.

Aemond walked towards his quarters till he heard his name from Y/N's door which was slightly opened. He hid behind the door, hearing the voices inside. He recognized his sister's and Y/N's.

"Oh, I'm so happy for you, Y/N! My future sister in law!" Helaena said, clapping her hands.

"Thank you, Helaena, but I would've still been your sister in law regardless if I chose Aegon." Y/N said, shrugging her shoulders.

"Well, you not marrying Aegon means I have to marry him." Helaena said, laughing uncomfortably.

"What? What do you mean? You can't marry that pig!" Y/N exclaimed.
