*2. The other*

Everyone was waiting for the great shout Mike would do. He just jumped behind Krist and shout ou "to be or not to be". And that's suppose to be the clue to all of them starting rehearsal for the play, but Gun made everybody laugh when he started signing Beyoncé's Freakum Dress.

"Not!

Hold up, bring the beat back.

Stop! I ain't ready yet"

"Just shut the fuck up", Krist complained. That was the thing he hate the most: fright.

"Chill man. It was just a prank", said Mike.

"Just don't do it again", Krist left the stage.

They were rehearsing for two hours now. All of them was studying to be a doctor, but they had this little theater group since they're kids. It's their friendship safe place.

Krist couldn't complain about his life. It was good. He had great friends; supportive parents and he was a great student. His life would be good for sure. Sometimes his friends tried to make he feel in love, but that's not how feelings work. He already had a great boyfriend in the past, but he didn't really love him if he was true with himself.

The big problem is his life seems a little bit boring. Everyday was the same: he wakes up; goes to the uni; talks to his friends; gets home; goes to bed; sleeps. He just feels like life should be a little bit different. But how?

That's why that boy didn't disappear from his mind. It was just a bit of a second, but he shacked his mind. The boy was rude, stupid, and disrespectful. It wasn't that Krist was attracted to him, but somehow the stranger had entered his thoughts. What was it supposed to be like to live that way, not caring about other people's feelings?

He knew he would never see that boy again, but his thoughts were going crazy. He just wanted experience that feeling again.

The next Monday, Kris met Mike at the front of the Medical Build. Mike tried to exchange a glance with Krist, his most failed attempt at flirting and the only person he wanted to have anything real with. They were best friends and probably the only thing Krist wanted them to be.

New arrived with a smile in his lips.

"So you and May are back together again?" Krist asked.

"Probably. We didn't have time to talk today, but I think we are working things out." They both exchange a look and New asked: "and when do you intend to confess?"

"Confess?", Krist just woke up from his mind. "Are you in love, Mike?"

"No, I'm not. It's just New trying to get on my nerves", Mike says quickly. "Please...", he answered New almost without any sound.

"Ok. I'm just trying to piss you off. Chill! Let's go to class!"

Uni was messy. Everyone was talking about the Homecoming, which would happen the next Friday. That is the event of the year. The former basketball players take the field against the current team and afterwards there is a big party, with lots of music, dancing and games.

Krist actually likes the Homecoming. He is not popular or que king of any party, but he has fun with his friends. Mike and Off are from the basketball team, so they are a little bit popular. But nobody really understands they hang out with Krist and New. Krist is the smart guy and New is the joker. They're just another tribe.

"We're going have so much fun this year", New said.

"Well, are you guys stay with us? Or with the losers?" Mike asked.

"We are the losers, honey!", Krist answered.

"I'm not a loser. I'm just misunderstand. But I would never leave you alone, Kiki", New joked.

"You never called me Kiki again!"

Mike and New laugh.

"Why don't you guys give our group a chance? We're cool", Mike tried again.

"Mike, I love you! But I'm pretty sure we wouldn't be friends if you didn't meet me since our childhood."

"All right... so It's a no?"

"Yeah", Krist and New answered at the same time.

"Ok.."

Krist knew it could be the adventure he was waiting for. But his heart wasn't giving him any vibes. But what exactly was he wanting?

Krist had already spent an afternoon with the popular ones, at Mike's request. It had been a terrible experience. They are self-centered, selfish and think they are superior to others. At least most. Not the kind of company he had in mind.

But Krist's life wasabout to change. When Mike opened the classroom door, he saw those lonely eyesthat had treated him with such contempt. The mysterious boy was in his Anatomyclass.
