firstly - this plot is based on the book "they both die at the end." if you haven't read it, no worries it's not necessary to understand the fic. but basically it's a universe where your death can be predicted and if you're dying, you get a call at about midnight the day of. they don't tell you how or when it's going to happen. you just know you'll die before midnight hits again. it's a genius idea. you should definitely read the book if you haven't. that said, obviously we're gonna have some heavy stuff going on. i covered pretty much all of it in the description so yk just a trigger warning i suppose lol.
second - this fic is literally a fanfic of a different fanfic i wrote ?? i never published it tho so i reused the plot for this and idk if it makes sense lol. it makes perfect sense to me but i'm weird so i wouldn't trust that. anyway. all you really need to know to not be confused is that harry and louis are married and raising ashton, who is harry's younger half brother. louis is harry's trophy husband. that's not important to the plot but it is important to me.
