The dark nights in Galar were nice, but cold. Super cold.
That's why you decided the wild area would be a nice place to go at night. If you could find a place with a warmer climate for fire-type pokémon, it would be the best time to look at the stars.
The person that thought of this idea was, none other than, Piers.
Both of you didn't have much money, but that didn't matter to you both. Dates like these were the best thing in the world.
After all, memories are worth more than diamonds.

You felt a soft prick at your head, finding a little zigzagoon on the grass behind you. When you sat up and turned around, it was him.
"Hey."
"Hi"
No other words were needed. You understood eachother. He sat beside you and you rested your head on his shoulder. He put his arm around you carefully as the Zigzagoon nestled in your lap, purring happily at the comfort.
small fireflies moved closer to you two on the grass, flying around your heads.
"Pretty, aren't they?" you asked. Piers nodded and he hummed a response.
They would be cruel, but pretty
to keep. you took your phone out and positioned it at a group of them.
