Bible helped Bas move his things to the latter's unit and learned about the dating app, DCB.
He went to the link and read through the ins and outs, do's and don'ts of the process.
So, he learned that DCB is in any way not affiliated within their University, though its admins are all active Senior students. Their profiles are even posted on the site for transparency.
Brave. Bible thought. He is impressed by it.
DCB was first established to give access to students who are looking for "distraction" instead of going out in bars or clubs where they would pick up total strangers.
It has very simple and direct reminders for anyone interested.
- Must be an active Junior or Senior student of the University.
- Will be willing to provide student # and profile based on the questionnaire.
- Personal information like address and phone # will be kept private unless stated otherwise.
- There will be one Host and one Guest.
- The Host will be responsible for the location, safety, and comfort of the Guest. They have the option to go through the Guests list but not view their full profile. The list to be provided to the Host will depend on the matches they will get based on the completed questionnaire.
- The Guest will be informed once a Host has chosen them, and has the liberty to refuse. If the Guest approves, the full profile of each will be released to both parties including their preferred way of communication.
- The Host has the option to conduct a further conversation with the chosen Guest and decide if will go forth or not.
- The Guest will be the one to go to the preferred location of the Host, in accordance with both parties' comfort, unless the Host states otherwise.
- Agreed time and place should be followed unless in case of unavoidable circumstances.
- Any untoward behaviour will result in being blocked and banned. Your name will be posted on the site for a decent amount of time and tagged as "removed"
- Membership is automatically assumed once you hit submit after completing the questionnaire. This will expire the moment you ask to withdraw, in which your name will be posted and tagged as "withdrawn"
- All initial processes and communication are done online and mediated by the admins.
- Admins are free from any liabilities for whatever transpires after the initial process of selection and releasing of profiles; all of which are with full consent from all parties involved.
Bible thought for a moment, I can just back out if I don't feel any connection with my chosen guest. He proceeded with the questionnaire and after hitting submit, was presented with the list of matched guests.
The questionnaire consists of:
- Basic information
- Preferred gender, age, and physical appearance
- Sexual fantasies, kinks, or anything they want and do not want to manifest in bed; cuddling, small talk, staying after or leaving immediately, other things they might require of their guest.
- Preferred way of communication
- Other information or requests they might have that are not stated above.
The list that Bible got doesn't have a lot listed in it, which means that very few matched his standard. He was about to close the app thinking it won't be worth it, when his eyes were caught by a name: Wang Yibo.
Saturday
Bible decided to get a new roommate because living with Bas all these years suddenly made the place feel too big for him, now that his friend had moved out.
He checked their building bulletin board (online) and the list of people looking for a vacant room or unit. Another name caught his attention, Jeff Satur.
He immediately sent an email to their building administrator regarding his spare room and if they could offer it to Jeff.
Tuesday
Jeff dialled the number for the building admin, he didn't want to miss the opportunity of getting a new unit. He talked with the Admin and found out that it was Bible who owns the unit and offering his spare room for rent. He got Bible's number and sent him a message instead of immediately calling.
📩JEFF: Hi, Bible! This is Jeff. I got your number from your building admin regarding the spare room.
📩BIBLE: Hi, Jeff. Yes, I am looking for a roommate. Would you be interested to take a look?
📩JEFF: Yes, please, if it won't be a hassle.
📩BIBLE: Definitely not. How about Thursday at around 5 pm?
📩JEFF: That works for me, thank you! See you, Thursday, then.
📩BIBLE: No probs. See you!
After reading the last message, Jeff prepared to go out to meet Perth. They agreed to meet for coffee since Jeff had been holed up in his unit for days. He will also tell his friend about Bible.
At the café, Jeff and Perth occupied the table near the counter. With all their luck, they encountered the famous rich kid, Wang Yibo, who always stares at Jeff whenever they are in one space. Not that Jeff was creeped out about it, he
just feels so exposed to how intensely those beautiful eyes of Yibo are always focused on him.
Tuesday
"I won't be surprised if one day Jeff reports you to the police," Youn said to Yibo as the latter keep on staring at Jeff.
"Sure, he would've done that already if he has any intention to," Yibo said with a smug.
"I mean, try to do something else like focus on me or your phone! You are acting like a creep."
Yibo glared at Youn for what the latter said but followed the suggestion. Instead of talking to him, Yibo chose to check his phone again. He already got an email with Bible's profile, so he read it and decided to send a message to the indicated number.
📩YIBO: Hello, Mr. Bible. This is Wang Yibo.
📩BIBLE: I wasn't expecting you to message me right away, did you even read my profile?
📩YIBO: I did, I did. Is there anything else you wanted to know? My profile is pretty much direct and all information is supplied.
📩BIBLE: So it seems. I don't have anything to add unless you do.
📩YIBO: How about Thursday, at 7 pm?
📩BIBLE: I thought that the Host is supposed to choose the date and time, and place.
📩YIBO: You can choose the place. Unfortunately, that is the only time I can manage because I have other stuff I need to do. Also, I have so much stress I need to release.
📩BIBLE: If I could be of help, then come. My place, your time.
📩YIBO: See you on Thursday, then.
