The prophecy was known by every Jedi across the galaxy. It was an ancient telling and there was no guidance on when this prophecy would take place. The prophecy told of A powerfully Force-sensitive being who would restore balance to the Force by destroying the Sith. It was unknown what species or on what planet this person would originate from, but the Jedi Council took it upon themselves to find this person, and train them to meet their destiny.

There were two instances where the Jedi Order believed they had finally found the suspected Chosen One. It was even more convenient that these instances occurred around the same time, but on opposite sides of the galaxy; both being by pure coincidence, at that.

On the Outer-Rim planet of Tatooine, a boy was found by Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn, and his Padawan, Obi-wan Kenobi. The two Jedi had been forced to land on the anarchist planet of Tatooine with Queen Amidala from the planet of Naboo. They were under orders to protect her, but were drawn to the crime-ridden planet by a pull Master Qui-Gon didn't first understand. But once they met Anakin Skywalker, a slave along with his mother, he understood.

The boy was Force-sensitive and had a talent in tinkering. He worked with droids and even partook in the dangerous sport of pod-racing. The Jedi Order took Anakin Skywalker in on the planet Coruscant, where the Jedi Temple trained their younglings to become Jedi Knights and Masters.

But finding the boy alerted the Jedi Order about a Sith apprentice named Darth Maul. A battle took place between Master Qui-Gon and Padawan Obi-wan Kenboi, which ended in the unfortunate death of Qui-Gon Jinn. 

But Darth Maul was slain by Kenobi, and he was given the rank of Master not long after. This allowed Obi-wan to take young Anakin Skywalker in as a Padawan once he reached the required age, and the hunt for Darth Maul continued across the galaxy. But was Maul the Sith apprentice, or the Sith Lord?

'Bring balance to the Force, young Skywalker will,' Grand Master Yoda had said, but there was another.

Only months later, another Force-sensitive child was found, and this one was on the Jedi Order's doorstep.

Coruscant was a bustling planet with a city full of the latest technology and trends. But below the first levels of the city held the lower levels, where crime and underground activities took place. This wasn't the place for Jedi nor a child, yet both had found themselves on a level which was unsuspecting in Jedi relations.

The Jedi were alerted by the police of the city at the detaining of a supposed 'Force-wielding thief'. At any sign of Jedi or Force-related activities, the Order were to be alerted immediately. 

At the time, Grand Master Yoda took it upon himself to venture to the police station that was among the lower levels of the city. With him, was Master Aayla Secura, and the two descended to the station in haste.

'How come we hadn't sensed a Force user so near to the temple, Master Yoda?' Secura asked as they walked along the landing platform's bridge to the station. 

'Protected, they may have been,' the green Master answered as he hobbled with his walking stick. 'Small uses of the Force can go unnoticed. Ask, we will. But a child may not know themselves.'

The police station was tucked away from the usual scene of the city's lower levels. Away from the clubs, bars and dodgy diners, the grey building sat on its lonesome with 'police' written in Galactic Basic. 

It was quieter on the lower level of Coruscant, but darker without the lights from speeders and tall skyscrapers. The air was heavier on the lower levels without the planet's sky, but it was breathable. Those who spent their whole lives on the lower levels never experienced fresh air, but they didn't know any different.
