Percy was devastated, he had broken his mother heart and it had killed her. He had overreacted at something she hadn't even done and hadn't spoken to her since.
Three months ago Sally had accused Percy of cheating because a rumor had been going around at Camp Halfblood and everything seemed to fit. Percy had publicly disowned his mother and that had been her breaking point, both had gone home with broken hearts and tears streaming down their faces.
Now Percy was standing beside her coffin, one she was put in too early. Sally had been killed by a drive by shooting meant for the person walking in front of her, and now she was gone. Percy could never say that he was sorry or tell her he loved her one last time, no she was gone and Percy was left with a heart full of guilt and a soul full of shame....
