She skimmed the rooftops as gracefully as ballerina doing an arabesque. First things first: she had to get the diamond. She propelled into the shop through the air vents. She put on her sleek heat sensitive glasses and avoided all the alarm lasers that would tell owners of her arrival. She melted the glass that encased the diamond and slipped it into her knapsack, quick and easy. She quickly got back up onto the roof and flipped her way down to the sidewalk in a nearby alley. From there, she changed her look with an easy disguise, a blonde wig, a scarf over her head, sunglasses, and red lipstick. She walked the block to the pharmacy and entered meekly, shyly, as if wearing the disguise had made her less confident. In truth, the reason for her appearance was what was shaking her. The aisle seemed long and treacherous to her. Even she, a powerful villain was scared of something. She paid for the test quickly, taking note of the unnerved cashier, and disappeared into the street. She put the test in her bag as well as her disguise, and headed back to the lab, her stomach churning with dread.

She entered the door, looking more casual than her insides felt. She tossed him the diamond as if it were a soft ball, and, after hearing his exclamation of "Thank you, Shego!" She made her way to the bathroom.

It took two minutes for the test to season. She sat on the bathroom floor, her thoughts wandering to Drakken. What would he think If she... Were? The word was too horrible to think. What would he say? Would he fire her? She sucked in a breath. Oh no... He wouldn't... Would he? The thought was too much to bear. She stared into the marble tiles and saw the scenes of her life flash before her- all of her good memories. Almost all of them were with Drakken. She shook her head, trying to rid herself of these thoughts. She might not even be pregnant. She tried to cheer herself up, but a black cloud hung over her and it drowned out quickly. Her mind counted down the seconds, until finally, her two minutes of purgatory were up. She reached a shaking hand up onto the counter, and felt around until she found the test. She shut her eyes and brought it forward. Then, taking a cleansing breath, she opened her eyes.

A little pink plus stared back at her.

Her first reaction was shock. She couldn't lift her eyes from it. She didn't dare move, and she barely breathed. All she could do was stare. In terror or horrified fascination, she didn't know which. She sat there, stock-still for what seemed like an eternity. When sense finally caught up with her, she was filled with a fulminating rage. She picked up the box that the test came in and burnt it to ash in her hand, she threw the test itself into her metal trashcan as if it were going to drain her life away. It landed with a clatter. She sank to her knees, confused and numb, and succumbed to the tears that had threatened her eyes.

She flopped ungracefully onto her bed, sobbing quietly into her pillow, drowning in her thoughts. Her worries gave way to horrid fantasies, in which she bled to death in a miscarriage, or died giving birth to her child. She shot straight up. Her child. Her and Drakken's child. They were having a baby... If he chose to stay with her. She had to tell him... She just didn't know how or how she could possibly say the word that she didn't want to think of. She mentally smacked herself. She had to get it together. It wasn't just her anymore. And she didn't dare kill the child inside of her. Even as a villainess, she didn't have the heart. She pushed such ideas from her head. She had to tell him. She had to do it now. Before something happened. Before Kim Possible and her dopey sidekick got in the way of things. Before the henchmen could come in. This she had to do alone. No power could help her here. She dried her eyes, and set off to find him, a woman on a mission.

She wandered until she found him putting the finishing touches on his devastation ray.

"Hey, Dr. D, you got a minute? I wanted to tell you something."

"In a moment, Shego. In just mere minutes, the world as we know it shall cease to exist!" He turned the wrench one last time and shut it with an overly satisfied clang.

"There! It's perfect! Now, what was it you wanted to tell me, Shego?" He asked, as he got ready to start up the ray.

"Dr. D, I'm-" the high-pitched wail of the alarm cut her off. He switched on the security monitors.

"Kim Possible!" He shrieked as if the name were poison on his tongue. Shego pursed her lips distastefully. She couldn't have picked any other time to save the day?! The thought made her anger flare. Not two minutes later, the redhead flipped into their lair.

"Shego! Steal any diamonds lately?"

"What's it to you, princess?" She spat. He hands burst with green plasma and their classic battle began. Kim dodged the plasma with ease, and landed a kick squarely in the middle of Shego's chest, knocking the wind out of her. She went in high for another kick, this time to the stomach, but Shego rolled aside, her arms covering her it automatically. For a fraction of a second, fear coursed through her and she froze before firing again. She didn't notice her other hand still resting protectively over her stomach. The blast knocked Kim back into the wall, where automatic cuffs clamped over her hands and feet. Ron and Rufus tried to run, the henchmen chasing after them, but ended up running into a wall, where they too were cuffed. Shego was still on the floor, shocked and agape, not at the cuffs, but at her own actions. She put her baby in danger... Kim Possible could have hurt her baby... Kim Possible tried to hurt her... And her baby. The thought filled her with unexpected fury. She glared vengefully at Kim, hatred making her eyes glisten. A tear rolled down her cheek, and she was suddenly overwhelmed with guilt. She left the room, leaving Drakken, Kim, Ron, and Rufus aghast at her. Nonetheless Drakken went on blabbing over his plan, while Kim Possible defeated him, deciding to leave the lair in tact for once. She felt a twinge of pity for Shego. She felt even worse for Drakken, who would have to deal with her... Emotional state. She left the lair wondering why Shego had looked so worried during their encounter.

Meanwhile, Shego had locked herself in her bedroom, her guilt taking it's shape in senseless tears. She buried her face in her pillow and made an effort to calm down. A knock startled her from her thoughts. She gathered her composure and opened.

"Shego, are you alright?" Asked Drakken, anxiously.

"Yeah, I'm fine." Her hand was still on her stomach.

"Did Kim Possible kick you in the stomach?" He asked. She moved her hand.

"No, she didn't."

"Then why were you holding it?"

"I was worried."

"About?" She took a deep breath. It was now or never.

"Dr. D- Drew... I'm Pregnant."

For the first time she'd ever heard he was struck speechless.

"Y-you're what now?"

"I know you heard me." She couldn't help feeling slightly rejected.

"H-How?"

"When else?" Her voice cracked "The New Years Eve party. We were both so drunk... We said, and did, things that we didn't mean..." She recalled a drunken admission of 'I love you' from him. "... But sometimes I wish you'd meant it." She said quietly as a tear ran down her cheek. His eyes widened a fraction as he realized what she'd meant. She couldn't bear to look at him a moment longer. She shut the door, leaving a stunned Drakken to his thoughts as she sank to the floor and buried her head in her hands.
