Hego was the first over to her, and wrapped her in a half-hug.

"Great to see you, sis!" He beamed. Shego shot an overwhelmed look at Drakken, who shrugged in sympathy. The twins hugged her and her lips tilted up a little. When they let her go, she finally spoke.

"Not that I'm not happy for the family reunion," she said sarcastically, "But what are you guys doing here?"

"Miss bossy called us in to be your 'protection'." Said Mego. Shego held a hand to her forehead. Of course this was Possible's doing. Her first reaction, as was becoming usual these days, was to become nauseous. She struggled to climb out of bed and barely made it to her connecting bathroom before she got sick. The brothers cringed away from her, giving matching exclamations of disgust. This only intensified the guilt they felt as they watched their sister faint to the floor with exhaustion. It was then that Drakken picked her up and lay her back down in her bed. He looked at her closely for the first time. Her tousled hair fell just to the small of her back in black waves. Her skin was pale as snow, and her lips black as night. She looked so fragile, he thought. A porcelain angel. He didn't think he'd ever looked at her as being fragile before- she'd always seemed so strong- a wall of stone. The wall was crumbling before his eyes, and it wretched at his heart. Her brothers watched her with feigned interest on Mego's part. They were here for protective duty, not watching their sister puke her guts out. Although, deep inside, they felt a strange twinge of sympathy for her. Hego watched her with particular interest. They'd been told she'd needed protection, but They were never told from who or why. And now, seeing her sick like that... She'd never been ill like that before. A few pieces fell into place. And he thought.... He shook his head. That just couldn't have been it. Come on, he reasoned, his sister, Pregnant? There was no way that could happen. If it had, she'd have had to be intimate, and Shego avoided intimacy like the plague. He relaxed at the thought, and turned his thoughts somewhere happier. Some place where danger never threatened and all his family was around him.

It was an hour later when Shego awoke again. She opened her eyes and stared blearily into the fluorescent lighting above her. She let out a small groan. These lights were giving her such a migraine. She looked around and was surprised to see Hego at her bedside.

"What do you want, Hego?" She asked warily.

"I just have one question."

"Knowing you it's never just one question. But fine, go ahead, ask me. You're just going to do it anyways."

"Are you Pregnant?"

She blinked, then sighed deeply.

"Yes. I am."

Hego's fury shocked even her.

"How could you be so irresponsible?! You have tarnished the reputation of Team Go!"

She flinched a moment, surprised, then regained her smug look.

"What, like it wasn't tarnished already?"

She noted Hego's look of extreme fury.

"Look, you can't do anything about this, alright. This baby is mine and I've decided to keep it. This is my child, and if anything happens to it," her voice cracked at the last part, "Then it's my job to handle it. Not yours." Her tone had grown dark, and she'd turned her face away from him. It was then that it clicked.

"That's why we're here isn't it? Someone is coming after you because of the child..." He laid a hand on her shoulder. She nodded, quiet and shaken to the bone. He felt guilt and anger mingled simultaneously in him, producing a feeling of pure disgust, with himself and the situation. He hated that he had no power in the situation, and it wasn't a feeling he wanted to become accustomed to. But for now he'd have to deal with it, for his sister's sake.

Shego felt her stomach lurch and stumbled into the bathroom. She threw up pure acid into the toilet, and flushed it, the acid making her throat burn. She collapsed onto the cold tile, too weak to stand. Another fainting spell was about to overcome her, when suddenly a hand grabbed her from behind.
