Rescue Mission pt 1

Zord's pov

After 30-plus years of suffering, my son would finally be free, even after everything Karen has done to him over the years. I walked into my weapons room and noticed everyone loading their weapons. Knowing the K.O.H.B, it's better I get some of them to come with me. I walked into my weapons room and got all of my goons' attention.

Zord: Alright, listen up.

They all turned and looked at me.

Hellhound: What's up, Boss?

I pointed to four of the best goons I have.

Zord: You four are coming with us as backup.

Hellhound 1: Can we get a raise?

Zord: Sure, why the fuck not?

Hellhound 2: Thanks, boss.

Hellhound 3: When are we leaving?

Zord: We'll be leaving in a couple of hours.

Hellhound 1: Got it.

Zord: Come with me. I'll explain your assignments.

They all followed me into the living room while I set up the blueprints.

Zord: So, you two are going with these two into the security room to infect their main computer with a virus.

Hellhounds 3 and 4: Got it.

Zord: You're going to be going with two imps.

Hellhound 2: Alright.

Zord: You're coming with me, Y/N, and his boss.

Hellhound 1: Got it.

I left the room to let them go about their business. I pulled out my phone and called Lexi.

Lexi: Hey, Zord.

Zord: Is everything all set for our mission?

Lexi: Everything on my end is set.

Zord: Perfect, we'll be heading out in a couple of hours.

Lexi: Alright.

I hung up and then started loading some weapons.

Y/N's pov

Today was the day I was finally going to save my parents after years of suffering. I got out of bed and started my day like any other. But Loona, of course, had her concerns. She's been doing everything she can to keep me calm the past couple of days, and she's been doing a pretty good job, but she knew what today was, and she knew how much it mattered to me.

Loona: Babe, are you going to be okay?

Y/N: I'll be fine after the mission.

Loona: Are you sure?

Y/N: Look, I know you're concerned, but this is important to me.

Loona: I know, but I can't help but be concerned.

Y/N: There's nothing wrong with that, Loo Loo. It's just your way of showing me you love me.

Loona: I've got plenty of other ways."

Y/N: As much as I'd love to see that, I've got other things to worry about.

Loona: You're no fun.

Y/N: Loona, there's a time and a place for everything.
