Chapter 23

Tom's POV

Friday 2 am (Tampa, Florida)

It's been 4 hours since we admitted Georg and Maxine to the hospital. The doctors said that they both lost too much blood, "Ah.." I moaned in pain as I felt a stinging sensation at my lower torso, I lifted my shirt up and took a glimpse of where it was stinging... I didn't even notice that I had been cut. It was bleeding but it wasn't that deep. "Oh shit you're bleeding." Bill panicked, "It's fine." I assured. The door open from Maxine's door and we all stood up from our chair, "are any of you Tom Kaulitz?" The nurse asked, "I-I am." I stuttered. "The patient requested for you." She smiled.

The nurse held the door for me so I quickly got into the room, and there she was lying on the hospital bed smiling at me. My eyes tear up as I saw her safe, "I missed you." She said as she opened her arms, I rushed to her arms and hugged her tight. I broke down, "How are you feeling?" I broke the hug, she pushed down the blanket and she showed me the stitches on her thigh, "pretty good I guess." She giggled as she stare at her thigh, "How's Georg." She looked back at me.

"He's fine, they got him to surgery as soon as we got here." I held onto her hand, her face went blank. "What's wrong?" I kissed her hand, "Why did you lie?" Her voice trembled as if she was holding back tears. I looked down and thought about it, why DID I lie? Is it because I wanna protect her from the truth? Is it because I want her to think that I'm not an asshole? Or is it because I want to protect my dignity. "I'm sorry..." we both made eye contact. "I-" before she could speak she got interrupted by a someone "TPD, Tampa Police Department. Tom Kaulitz you're under arrest for kidnapping Maxine Giselle." The police cuffed my hand to my back, "Wait no! He didn't kidnap me let him go!" Maxine struggled to get up "Princess it's okay. I'll find you" I assured her as I got taken away from her.

Bill, Gustav and I were all taken away from the hospital and we're to be taken to Tampa Police Station.

At Tampa Police Station.

We are to be interrogated one by one, I sat inside the interrogation room waiting for the police to come. I was still handcuffed, they can't put us to jail yet without interrogating Georg and the main victim which is Maxine. A man entered the room with a smile and some papers. "Hello Mr. Kaulitz, I'm Detective Caine how you doing?" He asked "Just get on with it." I demanded, he sighed and put the papers down on the table which were pictures of the incident in Miami Plaza, The restaurant in Orlando, and the incident from last night in Motel 6... "I believe you're all in these crimes." The detective smiled "It's not a crime." I said, "Alright, it's not." He placed down another picture... it was Yoshida. "Do you know this man Mr. Kaulitz?" He asked as I glared at Yoshi's picture, "I do." I answered.

"Can you tell me who this man was to you?" He crossed his arms and tilted his head. "He was the man that harassed Maxine and I back in the restaurant in Orlando." I explained. He had no reaction at all... it was silent for quite awhile. "I see... who is Miss Maxine to you?" He asked, I played with my lip ring as I stared at him... Maxine is a special to me... Now I know how I really feel about her. She makes me feel safe and secure. "She's my girlfriend." I looked down at my hand, "last question, why was she reported as a missing person?" He asked one last time. "Because I took her away without letting her band members know. They were just worried about her." I said, he organized the papers on the table and stood up "Thank you Mr. Kaulitz" he held the door opened for me, "Mr. Bill Kaulitz please come in." He demanded.

Bill and I both made eye contact as he entered and I left the room.

I sat down 2 chairs away from Gustav, we're both not allowed to talk to each other so I'm hoping they would answer the same answers I told the detective.

-aaaa this chapter is so fun to write! I'm not really good with police interrogations scenes like this, I just got ideas from TV shows or crime shows :) so if my interrogating is bad IM SORRY i'll do better next time! Enjoy the next chapter!-
