The Strange Man

It was a cloudy day today you were in your room a week after the kid had gone missing and you were playing with your toys with your Mr.pickles right beside you and you realized your mom had left the house and you went to look for her and realized it was raining

 You were playing on the side of the house just sitting there playing with Mr.pickles peacefully and this black van pulled up by the house next to yours and a man came out with bags of food and you just keep playing focusing back on your toy you loved him so much but after a little time passed you heard something the man had fallen down and dropped his stuff and if your mom taught you anything it was to be polite and kind to anyone 

You walked over to him and looked at him "well hi little one where are your parents" and you looked around but said nothing 

"well not much of a speaker huh" you shook your head and picked up an apple and handed it to the strange man 

"well thank you if anything you are very nice...wanna see a magic trick" you nodded and helped him pick up his things but then you felt him grab you and put his hand over your mouth you dropped Mr.pickles and started to whine but you did not fight him he put you in the truck grabbed the toy and handed it to you and noticed something else was missing your pacifier and you were already driving away, later on your stared to get motion sick and grabbed on to Mr.pickles tightly and fell asleep~

You woke up sitting up on a mattress but you did not bother to worry you had Mr.pickles with you but you were hungry, you could feel your stomach and you sat there looking around 

 It was a dark and damp place and you were still a little wet from the rain you were playing in and you walked around a corner to see a bathroom and you walked back and sat down on the mattress and then saw the door you went over to the door and banged your little hands on it you were too small to reach the handle so you went and sat back down and the man came in

 "well hello little one how are you" you just looked at him and watched as he walked over to you and sat down next to you "do you need this little one" he said as he showed you the binky and waved it around you looked at it and he could see you were filled with joy you even made grabby hands and tried to get it and he took it and looked at it  

"Mr.pickles huh what does that mean" you looked at him and showed him your toy

 "oh is it him" you nodded eagerly and he gave it to you and you were now happy

 "so little one what is your name" he asked you and you sat there trying to think of how to say it and he noticed this 

"y-y-y-n" you said slowly 

"so your name is y/n" you nodded your head

 "can you talk very well little one" you shook your head and pulled your knees up to your chest and hiding your face in your Mr.pickles stuffy 

"aw don't be ashamed of it hey now are you hungry yea you know what i will make you some food yea does that sound great yea don't worry i'll do that for ya" he said while walking away patting your head and up the stairs closing the door behind him 

The room got dark you still sat there for a little while then you got you looking around and saw a window and it was raining you walked up under the window reaching for it but you knew you could not get up there you were a small child and the man came in again with food this time 

"oh miss y/n are you trying to leave" you shook your head and pointed up at the window he was unsure of what you wanted but tried to guess 

"you want to go back to your mom" you shook your head 

"hm you want to see" you still shook your head and looked back up there "oh you want to go outside in the rain is that it" you nodded your head 

"oh little Alex i'm sorry you can't go outside but if i can earn your trust maybe i will let you out ok" you nodded your head and walked over to him and looked at the food he was holding 

"hey does this look good to you" you nodded your head looking at the scrambled eggs and a little cup with soda in it he went and sat the tray down on the mattress and you walked over to it you sat Mr.pickles down besides you and your binkey as well and took a bite of the food and it was delicious you loved it and you munched down quickly and the man just sat there watching you 

When you were finished you drank the rest of the soda and put it back on the tray and walked over to the man and tried to tell him to thank you 

"t-th-a-n-k-k c-h-u" you said a little faster this time like you have said it before 

"wow good job and you are very welcome I must go now but I will be back ok" you looked at him you head looked down and you went and laid on the bed you just wanted some attention he has gave you the most attention you have had in a while

He got up and looked at you and waved but you lay your head back down and he just left feeling some empathy for you something he never felt for any other kid, and you just fell asleep~
