I had to win Yuji over. I had to find a way to save him, before it's too late. The poor boy was looking at me, tears in his eyes and his hands were shaking holding the gun at me.

"Yuji, let's not do this", I tied to convince him to drop the gun, "I would never hurt you, Megumi or the rest of the kids. I wanna help you!".

"Then why did you lie to us?", he asked me.

"Because I didn't want you to fear me. I wanted you to trust me and accept me, so I can help you", I explained to him, "please, drop the gun and give me a chance to save you".

Yuji took a moment to think about it, then he drops the gun in my feet. I opened my arms to him and he immediately hugged me. His tears were silently rolling down on his face as I held him tightly in my arms. Megumi, Nobara and the rest of the kids were also behind him watching the whole thing.

"Traitors!", the head guard yelled at both me and Yuji, "Fushiguro! Grab a gun and come here to fight for your people!".

"I'm already here..fighting?", Toji spoke up.

"What?", the head guard turns to Toji and looks at him with a confused face, "no, not you. Our soldier-Megumi Fushiguro".

"There's another Fushiguro?", Toji asked.

His eyes immediately flew to Megumi and when he saw him..Toji stopped in his tracks. I had no idea what was going on, but I didn't had time to think about it. More guards were coming at us and we were way smaller group than them. I started losing hope.

But then Yuji stood next to me and Megumi was right at my other side. I looked down at Yuji in surprise, but all he did was to give me a smile and started kicking our enemy away, to beat the up. The kids came to our side and our little group was growing even more.

I thought for a moment that we have a chance to win, but then...something unexpected hit me right in the face. Naoya walked out holding y/n in his hands. He dropped her on the ground right in front of me and pulled out a gun out of his belt. Y/n looked terrified. My whole body froze and I stopped right in my tracks.

Naoya gave me a devilish smirk and placed his finger on the trigger. I once again raised my hands in the air staying completely still.

"You want to play a hero, huh?", Naoya asked me and laughed in my face, "let's see how are you going to save your love from dying".

"Are you really going to kill your own blood?", I asked him, but I was pretty sure i already knew the answer to that question, "you're a monster, Naoya Zenin, a heartless bastard!".

"Satoru...", y/n was crying on the ground, her eyes begging me to do something.

"Stay there, it will be alright", I said to her.

"Listen to me now", Naoya spoke to me, "take your buddies and leave my palace forever, or you'll witness the loss of a loved one".

"Don't be reckless, Naoya", I warned him.

"I don't care anymore", he started laughing like a complete maniac in front of me, "I am ready to sacrifice everything to get what I want!".

I didn't know what to do. My hands were tied and one wrong move can cost me the only thing I care about in this world. I have to think it through and be calm. But how am I going to hide my fear of losing her?

Just, when I thought I was lost, I see Naoya falling on the ground, his eyes rolling back and his hand dropping the gun. The Queen was standing behind him with her hand in the air, she was staring down at her son with disgust in her eyes.

"Don't stress my precious y/n", the Queen said and stepped on her son with one foot, "she's with child for God's sake!".

Y/n stood up from the ground and immediately ran into my arms. I hug her tightly and I press her head against my chest. She started crying and held my shirt to feel me even more. The Queen gave orders to all the guards to step back and break the fight. Then she took the matter into her hands and ordered two of th guards to put Naoya in jail.

My mates and I were finally free to breath some fresh air and relax our bodies. Y/n was holding me tight and I looked down at her with a smile on my face. But then...those words, that the Queen said, hit me hard like a thunder.

"You....", I made a step back and I stared at her like I couldn't believe my ears, "you...you are with child? You're pregnant?".

"I didn't plan to tell you like this...not right now and not during a battle", y/n lowered her head in front of me and placed both her hands on her stomach, "but...a couple days back I wasn't feeling good, so I decided to visit the doctor. And I found out I was pregnant".

"Pregnant....with my child..my own child", I began saying. My mind was going crazy, my whole body was ready to fall apart. I can't believe it...I'm going to be a father, I thought and a big smile appeared on my face. I turn back to y/n and I hugged her tightly again, "I'M GOING TO BE A FATHER!", I screamed out loud.

"Looks like someone was having fun", Toji jokes, but then his eyes turned to Megumi.

Both of them stare at each other, their faces calm and serious, not even a sound coming from them. When Toji stepped closer to the boy I finally noticed how similar they were.

"What's your name, kid?", Toji asked him.

"Megumi Fushiguro", the boy said.

"How are your parents? Hold old are you?".

"I don't know my parents", the boy explained to my mate and all of us were watching them interact, "I lost my mother, when I was 4 years of age and all I know about my father is that he is a soldier serving for the North. I don't know his name, but I have his last name".

"Shit....", Toji placed his hand on his mouth and sat on the ground. His face frozen in complete shock, "fuck...I have a kid", he said.

All of our eyes widened, when we heard that and I couldn't believe it myself. I knew that Toji was a lot older than all of us, but I didn't think that he was married, or had an affair right before being selected for the war.

"I guess this is the day of finding out you are a father", Suguru laughed out loud, "what? No secret kid for me?".

"It's not funny, dumbass", Toji yelled at him and turns to Megumi, he placed his hand on the boy's shoulders and looked directly into his eyes, "I know it's hard to believe it, because you don't know me and you've never seen me, but.. I am your father. My name is Toji Fushiguro and 15 years ago..I had an affair with a woman I was in love with..I mean your mom..we were ready to get married, but then I got selected and we couldn't...and we...".

Megumi cuts off Toji by hugging him tightly and burying his face into his chest. At first Toji didn't know how to react, but then he placed his hand on Megumi's back and rubbed it slowly to calm him down.

"So what now?", Suguru turns to me and all of them except me to tell them the plan.

"You get the kids and bring them to save place, I'll stay here and take care of Naoya", I told them my plan.

"You can't stay here alone. You saw what just happened, right? What, if it gets worse?".

"I'll be okay. I'll take care of Naoya, then I'll find you guys and we can figure everything out for the rest of this journey".
