Halloween 8: Michael Returns

Chapter 11

John drives off, away from the hotel. "I'm bleeding really bad." Mia said, holding her stomach. "We are going to the hospital now Mia, don't worry." Molly said as Tom helped her hold her wound. "Hey Mia, I'm so sorry you have to go through this." Tom said, looking at her. "Hey, look, it's not your fault, I chose to come with you guys, and I'm proud, because I'm with the most badass group of people right now." She said as she giggled a bit. "And look, I survived." She continued. Tom smiles as John continues to drive. "What if he's like following us right now?" Tom said as John and Molly looked back at him. "Woah, Mia you look really pale." Tom said. "I'm not feeling so good." She said, "We need to hurry up, go faster dad!!" Tom said. "She's losing too much blood." He said as he held her wound with her. John drove faster and they got to the hospital. "Okay let's go." Molly said, as she got out of the car. Tom got out of the car and ran to the back seat and took Mia and put his arm around her as they went into the hospital. They went to the front desk. "Emergency, she's been stabbed." John yelled. "Oh god, okay let's get her to a room." The nurse said as they put her in a chair. "Don't leave me." Mia said. "Don't worry, once you're in your bed, we will come into your room." Tom said. They took her to a room. It was raining, their hair was wet, and the down pouring rain would not stop. Tom and Molly sat down as John got something at the vending machine. "I hope she'll be okay." Tom said. "She'll be okay, you know how many times Laurie got stabbed? And she survived." Molly said smiling. "You never really told me about that night, you know that you got attacked." Tom said. "Can you tell me about it? Only if you feel comfortable." Tom said to his mom. "Of course I can, so me, your dad, my two friends Sarah and Charlie were in high school, like a private school. Laurie was the principal, and we were having a field trip at Yosemite and she didn't trust your dad going, but gave it some thought and she told him he could go, but he didn't, he decided to stay at the school, and so did me and our friends. That was the worst decision I've ever made in my life. Michael was looking for Laurie, so he came to the school to kill her, but not only her, anyone who was there, in his way I guess you can say. So he killed our friends first, Charlie and Sarah, me and your dad were going on a nice date for Halloween night, then we heard a noise, so we got up to check it out, and there she was... Sarah was hanging from a light bulb, all bloody. Then we found Michael, I don't remember too much from this part of the night but I remember running, and never stopping. Then Laurie let us in the other dorm. Then that's when they met again, all I can remember after that is that, my face felt like it was burning up from crying so much, I was terrified, and so afraid that, that might have been the last day of my life. But thankfully it wasn't. I remember us running again, then getting into the car, and Laurie told us to drive off without her. I remember thinking what the hell is she talking about, then I guess we drove off, and the last time we saw her that night was at the campus, we went back and she held a gun to the police and stole the truck. Then that was the end of that night." Molly said, looking at her son. Tom looked at her.
