Halloween 8: Michael Returns

Chapter 13

Mia's heart beat went up from waking up from the nightmare, the nurses ran into her room and made sure she was okay. "Are you okay Mia?" one of the nurses asked her. "Yeah, just a bad dream." Mia said quietly.
        The hospital's power went out too just like the rest of Haddonfield, but they had a generator of course, to keep the patients safe. The nurse walks into the waiting room. "She's up." The nurse said to them. Tom got up immediately. "Is she okay?" He asked. "Yes she is fine, she just needs to stay here for a little bit." The nurse said. "Okay." Tom said. "We will give you some time alone." Molly said as John nodded. "Okay i'll be right back." Tom said, walking into Mia's room and shutting the door quietly. It was quiet and all you could hear was the beeping of her heartbeat on the machine. Tom walked up to her. "Hey babe." Tom said smiling. "Oh, hey." Mia said, turning around and smiling. "You stayed?" She asked Tom. "Of course I did." Tom said. "Has Michael come for you yet?" She asked. "No... he didn't, but I don't want him to get away this time, we need him to come for us so we can murder him." Tom said, angry. "Well, unfortunately I'm not here to help you all because I'm going to be here all night." Mia said laughing "That's fine, from what my parents have been through, I think they can do it. They might have to carry me along." Tom said, looking at Mia. Mia rests her head on the pillow, "Do you want me to leave you alone so you can sleep?" Tom said. "No!" Mia said loudly. "You can stay here." Mia said, looking at Tom. "Okay, well uh, I'm going to have to go eventually." Tom said. "Yeah I know, but for right now, stay with me... unless you don't want to." She said with an attitude. "No it's fine, I'll stay." He said sitting down on the cloth chair next to the bed in the corner of the room. "I love you." Mia said smiling. "I love you too." Tom said.
        Mia closed her eyes about 14 minutes ago. She was dead asleep. Tom got up from his chair and checked if Mia was awake. "Mia?" He said quietly. She was out like a light. Mia was a tight sleeper, one time Tom was sleeping with her on a night of a thunderstorm. There was a super loud crack of thunder that shook the house, but Mia didn't hear it at all. Tom smiled then walked out of the hospital room. All the lights were off. "Hello?" Tom asked for someone. Tom walked up to the waiting room and his parents were gone. "What the hell?" He asked himself. He walked down the dark hallway, the only noise was the broken light flickering as Tom passed it. Tom walked down the hallway a few feet more and Michael stood at the end, staring at him. "Oh my god." Tom said. He ran the opposite direction of Michael as Michael speed walked towards Tom, Tom ran into Mia's room. Mia was standing up looking at him as well as the other patients in the waiting room, John and Molly were there as well. They pointed at Tom and said  "Let him kill you, let him kill you, let him kill you." as if they were possessed by a demon. Tom turned around and Michael was standing there. Tom screams at the top of his lungs as Michael goes to stab him in the head he wakes up on the chair  screaming from his nightmare.
