"Anyora.. I-", Otam tried to speak while Anyora spoke at the same time, "Ksaan, how -"

They both stopped.

"Y-you first", they both told each other at the same time.

"Hey, stop copying me, it's not funny," they continued, "Alright, I shut up until you speak again."

An awkward silence appeared between them both as they didn't know how to act next. After a few moments, they both flinched a little when they heard noises from the table, which was Keva recovering from her sleep. She attempted to stand up and coughed because of her current lack of oxygen.

"What else do you hide from me, mother?", Anyora approached her mother and held her up without having problems with her weight, which let Otam stare at her in disbelief. "Why weren't you telling me anything about all this weird stuff I'm constantly aware of?"

"Just as clueless as everyone else, huh?", muttered Otam quietly, trying to ignore their conversation.

Keva looked at the floor, "Enough for just a few minutes already. I'll explain everything when I get the chance to. Now, we need to solve the problem we're stuck in at the moment."

Anyora could easily tell that Keva felt nothing but guilt at the moment and did her best to repress it. As same as Anyora does with her emotions. But what she said was true: they had to get out of there as fast as possible. It was not excluded that they eventually even had to call the police... or escape them. It truly depended on who had already informed them.

"Maybe... it truly was a mistake to keep that stuff secret", Keva muttered under her breath.

By the thought of that, Anyora took out her cellphone and made a terrible conclusion: Inside the building she was at the moment, there was no reception. Meaning, they needed to do what they could.

After a heavy sigh, she turned to Otam and spoke, "We're caught here with no tools so far to escape, and there's someone who seeks medical help. My mum is afraid of blood, and she wouldn't hold on for too long with you here, but it seems as if she's already lost by herself. Concluding that our next steps depend on your current condition."

"I'm... almost fine", he chuckled nervously, "Luckily, the nerk forgot that he had a second key left inside here."

Anyora cleaned her throat while Keva's eyes widened.

"I don't know exactly where. I remember only that-", he suddenly coughed again. This time, very heavily and spitting out more blood.

"You gotta be kidding me", Anyora looked spooked at her classmate.

Without hesitation, she quickly held him on the shoulder to make sure he didn't lose his balance or get unconscious and gently uncovered the towel from the wounds on his chest again. She didn't even have to think of what she was doing, and her assumptions were confirmed.

"Try not to move", she said, "I won't promise that it's going to be comfortable."

That being said, she slowly put her fingers on the wound between his rib, Otam still leaving confused. "What are you-"

He couldn't continue because of the pain he felt. He did his best not to move and not to scream when Anyora just grabbed something inside the wound. While Otam was physically under full pressure, Anyora was sweating, trying her best to be as gentle as possible and to process these recent happenings that were turning her mind upside down.

What kind of a psychopath would come to the idea to hide the key inside someone's wound?

"Guess I was close", thought Anyora, "How did the secretary not notice anything about this... crazy unsettling stuff?"
