Allya spent the next few days getting to know the members of the Nite Owls. They provided her with a jetpack and trained her to use it. They wouldn't provide her with armour, nor would she want it. From what she could gather, Mandalorian beskar armour was personal and only given to those who earned it. Allya preferred her simple cloth clothing anyway. Armour was too heavy and restrictive.

The first time she tried to use her new jetpack she nearly flew back down into the ground to the Mandalorians' amusement. Every time she nearly crashed she simply teleported to level ground, something that seemed to greatly impress the spectators. Once she realised how it worked though, it became easier and easier to understand it. She wouldn't be able to do anything advanced but she could at least keep up with the others and it allowed her to reach places that would be too far for her to teleport to. It was heavy though. It was useful to have but if she didn't need it, she was unlikely to wear it.

Her short training period was quickly coming to an end. They had missions coming up that required them. The final day of her training, Bo-Katan met up with her for the first time since she'd been placed under her command. The other Nite Owls had been responsible for her training.

"Allya. I've heard good things. You've impressed my Owls." Bo-Katan said as she approached.

"They're excellent warriors. You should be proud." Allya replied. She meant it. If only they could use magick, they'd make incredible sisters.

"Well they say they're confident they could fight by your side in the field so I think you're ready. Still, I want to see for myself so come on, lets go for a fly. I want to see for myself what you're capable of."

Before Allya could even reply, Bo had lifted off and was flying away. Allya quickly lifted off and darted after her. The wind whipping through her clothes was refreshing once she was used to it. She caught up quickly and flew beside Bo.

"Ajax has been telling me about your missions. Somehow you've convinced him to keep secrets." Bo shouted over the wind rushing past them.

"Its an agreement for our aid. He only keeps secrets that are no threat to you. One day you will find out yourself but we aren't ready to be fully open yet." Allya explained.

"Thats fair." Bo said, although clearly a little disappointed. "What he has told me is impressive. Your time on Ryloth particularly stands out. You singlehandedly carved a path through the Seperatist forces in Lessu?"

"I was only thinking of vengence. Their commander had to pay."

"Whatever your reasons, that was an impressive feat. I do hope you realise we are allied with the Seperatists though."

"Of course. I have fought for both sides in this war. The individual front matters to me rather than the overall war."

"Good. As long as your past actions do not come back to bite us."

"They might. The Jedi hate me. I have no doubt that my face and actions are known to the Seperatists too." Allya replied candidly. "The galaxy is a big place though and I am one woman. I'm sure there are many people who don't know me."

"Don't be surprised. With the Jedi, the galaxy seems to be a small place. They always turn up where they're not welcome."

Allya didn't reply. Bo had a point. In her short time in the galaxy she had already met Obi-Wan, Anakin and Ahsoka twice.

"We'll land over there." Bo said, pointing to a plateau a short distance away.

Landing the proper way was something Allya still struggled with but she didn't need to perfect it. Instead, she just stopped the thrust of the jetpack and teleported to the ground.

"Well, you can fly. Thats good." Bo said. "I haven't seen you fight yet though so come on, show me what you've got." She drew her blaster.

Allya smirked. "Any limits?"

"No killing or seriously injuring. Use whatever weapons you like. I will do the same."

"Lets see how good Mandalorians really are then." Allya said, drawing her lightsaber and igniting it. She had the two blades attached together in the doublesided blade. She was more used to fighting like this. It was closer to her spear.

Bo flew up into the air but Allya was quick to pull her back down with the Force. Bo handed the landing well and with a roll she was upright again and once again flying up. She circled around Allya firing her blaster down at her. Allya used her lightsaber to easily reflect the bolts. When Bo flew a little too close, Allya teleported up onto her back. The added weight threw her flight off and the two plummeted. Allya went to strike a glancing blow. She knew the beskar armour wouldn't let any real damage to be done.

They hit the ground hard but once again, Bo managed to recover the landing quickly with a smooth roll. Allya, however, had the wind taken out of her. She was struggling to catch her breath. Bo raised her arm and a torrent of flames emerged from her wrist. Allya didn't have time to recover. She had to move. She teleported again, this time behind Bo. The Mandalorian clearly expected this and turned 180 degrees with her dagger drawn blocking Allya's lightsaber blow.

The two disarmed each other and sent their weapons flying. Allya pushed her back with the Force but Bo caught her leg with a rope that she'd shot from her wrist. The momentum of Allya's push dragged them both a short distance and knocked them off their feet. They landed beside each other on the ground. The two grappled each other and tried to wrestle the other into submission. The metal armour made it hard to force Bo to submit. Allya, while being pinned by Bo, reached up and pulled the Mandalorian's helmet off.

Bo was smiling down at her. She was enjoying this as much as Allya was. Allya noticed Bo's discarded dagger a short distance away. She reached out with the Force and pulled it close. Once she had it in hand she turned to hold it to Bo's throat only to find that Bo had another knife of her own to Allya's neck.

"You fought well." Bo said, panting but with a wide smile.

"You too. I think if we were both aiming to kill... I'm still not sure who'd win." Allya smirked. She was looking up at the woman who was still lying over her, pinning her down. It was rare to have someone fight equally with her. This woman was strong. She commanded others. She was beautiful. If she was a male, she would make a good mate for a Nightsister. The thought lingered in Allya's mind. She didn't want a mate though. She never had interest in seeking a male out. Her sisters always seemed much more worthy of her attention. Bo-Katan seemed more worthy of her attention. Her mind drifted to her interaction with Ahsoka. He body had guided her to kiss the girl. She knew that some of her sisters had dedicated themselves to another woman before. Maybe it wasn't so unusual to desire this.

She pulled Bo down and kissed her deeply. To Allya's surprise and joy, she didn't pull back. Instead, the woman returned the kiss. It was different to her brief kiss with Ahsoka. This was more intense. Bo's tongue traced over Allya's lower lip and her body responded by itself. Her mouth opened to allow the other woman's tongue to enter. She met it with her own. He felt Bo's hands trace down her torso. The woman's touch made her stomach twist with excitement. Allya's hands replied to the touches with her own. Bo's armour made it difficult though.

She broke off the kiss and looked up at the Mandalorian woman. She didn't really know what to say. She didn't know what had come over her. She never expected to feel this way. She had just shrugged off her touches and kiss with Ahsoka as comforting embraces, although she knew deep down that there was more to it. This deeper kiss though, this was different. She couldn't ignore the way this made her feel. She couldn't ignore her desire for more.

"I think this is the first time I've seen you not look confident." Bo chuckled. "Was it that good?"

"I- Yes." Allya stammered out. "I uh..."

Bo chuckled. "Was that your first kiss?"

Was it? Did her kiss with Ahsoka even count? It was nothing like this.

"Yes." She replied, she could feel her cheeks heat up. She felt so pathetic. She was crumbling. She was weak.

"Then I'm impressed. I couldn't tell." Bo said. She stood up and offered Allya a hand. Allya took it and was pulled to her feet. "I think I'm going to enjoy having you around." Bo-Katan said with a smirk.
