Chapter 21-

Idle

I am still waiting for him..

I’ve been sending him stupid e-mails..

I am hoping he might read them too..

Even though he might not…

   “Everybody exchange your notebooks” sabi nung teacher namin

Nag-palit naman kami

Then our teacher started dictating the correct answers.

   “Ano uli yung number 5?” Jeric suddenly asked

I showed him the notebook I was checking..

He looked at me

   “Yah” I said with a soft voice

He gave me a smile, I didn’t bother to smile back because he wasn’t looking at me anymore..

After checking the notebook our teacher dismissed us quickly and the bell rang.

Jeric stood up

   “Anong gusto mong kainin?”

I looked at him

   “I’m not hungry” I smiled

   “Then what is that rumbling sound I’ve been hearing since 6th period?” he chuckled

Umiling ako then shook my hands

   “That was nothing, you must have heard it form somewhere else” sabi ko, embarrassed.. -.-“

He shook his head while smiling then he sat down beside me..

   “If you don’t eat some specific person might get angry at me because im letting you do this to your self” he said

Tumingin ako

   “Who might that be?” tanung ko

He just gave me a grin..

He ignored my question, tapos may nilagay siyang lunchbox sa table ko.

   “Ano yan?” tanung ko

He smiled and opened the lunchbox

   “Scrambled, that some specific person told me that was your favorite breakfast meal” he handed the spoon and fork to me.

   “Eat that now, and I won’t bug you anymore”

I was really hungry.. So yeah I ate it. At first I was having second thoughts.. no actually I just paused for a while then I ate it..

What!? I am really hungry!! I didn’t have the time to eat.. since.. well I don’t actually remember..

I looked at Jeric

   “Ikaw ba?” sabi ko sakanya

   “Naka-kain na ako kanina ehh”

I started eating again

Tapos may biglang nag-flash, nagulat naman ako. Narinig kong tumatawa si Jeric

   “HEY! Delete that picture!!” sumigaw ako

Umiling siya

   “What’s that for anyway?” tanung ko

   “It’s for the photo album you gave me, konti palang picture dun eh” ngumiti siya

   “That photo album is for memorable pictures only!!” sabi ko

Tumango siya

   “This is memorable” he said
