The box
February 13 - 11:57 pm Joana’s birthday
Three minutes left and..
It’s my 16th birthday.. and I’m celebrating it with my whole family.
“Trish! Mag-ingat ka sa paputok! Baka masugatan ka!” sumigaw si Tatay
Tumango ako
“Hindi ako mag-papaputok Tay!!” sumigaw din ako
May humawak sa kamay ko tapos hinila ako
“Wag tayo dito! Masyadong ma-usok baka ma-asthma ka” sabi ni Joana
Tapos ayun tumakbo kami papasok sa bahay, umakyat kami sa roof.
Wow.. ang ganda dito sa taas.
“I really love it here..” she whispered
Tumawa kami
“So lagi kang nasa roof?” tanung ko
Tumango siya
“And ganda ng view.. kaya ako nangingitim eh. Lagi akong nag-su-sun bathing sa roof top”
Tumawa uli kami
Yes at first it was weird having my long lost twin sister with me, but it was worth giving it a try. We always go on shopping after classes, we’ve been having sleep over’s.
We did have a new game.. she never left my side since Christmas. I guess she really did mean all those things.
“Happy birthday Trish!!”
Then she hugged me, I hugged tighter
“Thank you!”
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY TRISH!!!” sumigaw sila Tatay sa baba
Tumingin ako sakanila
“Asan na gift ko??”
Tumawa kami
Hmm.. my 16th birthday with my long lost twin sister. What can ruin this?
Is my long awaited boyfriend… that mercurial guy!!
Sigh** He sent me a box last week with a letter said not to open until he calls at my birthday. The huge box wasn’t heavy!
I think it has nothing in it, it’s weightless! What do you expect I’d think??
Anyways.. I don’t need a gift from him.. I need him.
Cry** T_T that guy has a lot of things to do when he comes back!
I miss him so much, he texted me the other day…
