ARNAV'S POV

The success of my first collection, my expected unexpected meeting with my so called family, the party. Everything went jiffy. I had lot of things to ponder over. Standing by my poolside i was trying to think over other stuffs. But the only thing, or rather i say the only person i was thinking about is her.

Khushi Gupta. I feel intrigued . Something about her pulls me towards her. She's efficient at her work, is an asset for the company but silent, lost in her own world, minding her own business .

This is what I like about quiet people: one never knows if they are dancing in a daydream or carrying the weight of the world.

Khushi Gupta has peaked my interest in her from the very first day. First because of her blatant question, but then with her silence. Her eyes are expressive , as if they speak. And i don't know why , i want to read then. Whatever she does, wherever she goes, whoever she talks to and whatever she listens, I like to know, my eyes follow her, without my will.  And after knowing how she helped baba, her respect grew a little bit more in my eyes. In today's world, not everyone helps a stranger. Kindness is rare, which she has.

NEXT MORNING

The newspapers and business channels of social media and tv were all filled with last night pictures. All positive comments, reactions and effect. Every picture of Arnav , the celebrities and the family are trending. The family. Arnav's reaction to that one picture, was  numbness. He don't know how to react on that. The picture, beautifully captured the moment shared between the mother and son with a precious caption as well. But he didn't know how to react at all. He was scrolling through these news when he heard his baba calling him down for breakfast. He kept the phone aside and went to the dining room.

As soon as he arrived the living room, a divine smell filled his nostrils.

"Oh my god, What did you make today baba?" Arnav asked delighted, suddenly his mood getting better.

"Special Lucknowi breakfast." He said, keeping the dishes on the table.

"Lucknowi breakfast? But Baba, when did you learned to make this?" Arnav asked astonished.

"Khushi taught me. Now enough of talks , taste these and tell me how is this?" he said forwarding the Khasta kachori he had made.
