"The thing you need to understand about the old legends, is that the story is never finished. There may be no pages left to turn, but there is always more to the journey. Rising from the netherworld, the Demon Bull King attacked. No one could stop him. No one could resist. No one... Except... The Legendary Six-Eared Warrior.
The Six-Eared Warrior used his magical staff to wield nearby shadows in the area. He trapped the Demon Bull King underneath it. The Warrior sealed him with the staff that no other being could wield and transform, trapping the Demon Bull King forever. With the battle won, the Six-Eared Warrior hid the staff as an artifact and vanished into his shadows, never to be seen again. Legend says that the artifact is still hidden in the unknown, the one thing keeping our world from certain destruction.
And with the Demon Bull King gone,... civilization was able to advance into the amazing city we now live in!"
"A world of elegant cultures, gentle loving people,"
The view turned to a scholar, who was helping out in a kitchen by washing the dishes. As the scholar smiled, he finishes up his said story,
"A city brimming with five-star cuisine! And all because of The Six-Eared Warrior!"
The scholar finished his story and got his work done at the same time, impressive, but it was met with a loud groan behind him. The sound was coming from a boy who was wearing a uniform that had it's sleeves rolled up, matching with his light brown slacks. He had a white bandana around his head and he was currently rocking his chair back and forth in annoyance, "Ughhh— MR. TANG!!!! I've heard this story SOOO many times!!!! It's getting boringggg......" Said boy whined. The scholar, who was Mr. Tang, chuckled at the sight as he turned to the boy and pushed up his glasses before leaning onto the counter to look at him. In response, "Ohh MK... and you still think that The Great Six-Eared Warrior can be beaten? He's beaten THE Demon Bull King! And saved our world! There's no way you're not impressed." Tang smirked, the boy, MK, on the other hand rolled his eyes and pulled out a plastic bag and took a wood carving out, it was still in progress so therefore it's not really detailed. He placed it back in after taking a glance of it. "Yea I am but— I think that The Great Sage Sun Wukong could beat him! Like- it's THE Monkey King. The one who fought the celestial realm!" "And lost." Tang interrupted MK's sentence as he frowned, he doesn't really understand why MK looks up to Sun Wukong so much. "Yeah yeah I know that! But I personally think he deserved better." "Well I don't. He should've stayed in that mountain than coming back." Both MK and Tang spoke up and suddenly a tension rose up between them, both giving eachother death stares.
Thankfully it didn't last long as it was stopped by a pig demon who grabbed both of them by their ears, like a mom. "Alright bozos, you better stop arguing in my restaurant OR ELSE I'LL KICK BOTH OF YOU OUT!!!" The pig demon was pulling on both ears until MK got out from his grasp, which made him let go of Tang's ear aswell. "Sorry Pigsy! It'll never happen again!!" Mk bowed in apology and same goes with Tang before both stood back up, "Yeah! We promise." Tang said as he smiled, but he sneakily gave MK a side eye which made MK grumble in annoyance, he turned away from Tang and crossed his arms. Pigsy, the pig demon, sighed and went into the kitchen, "Alright now that's done.. TANG! HELP ME SET UP THE UTENSILS, AND MK! DELIVER SOME NOODLES WOULD 'YA!" The pig shouted as he quickly seals up the Noodles that was poured into a container and placed them into bags, giving them to MK. "Yes sir!" MK saluted as he ran out of the store, which was called 'Pigsy's Noodles', and went to his delivery motor. Pigsy smiled at the sight of MK working hard as he went out to the doorframe, before... realizing and turned to Tang, who was eating noodles.
The pig gave the scholar a death glare as Tang looked at him, sweat dripping down his face as he was slurping said noodles. He finishes chewing then spoke up nervously, "Uhm.... I'll. Do.. Extra work..??" Tang tried to convince Pigsy, which worked, "You better." Pigsy snorted while walking back to the kitchen and continued to prepare some noodles for customers.

FanfictionAU where Sun Wukong and Liu'er Mihou's positions are switched. I usually see screenshot redraws of swk and macaque switched but I've barely seen anyone making a whole storyline out of it including a fanfic of it, so might aswell make my own version...
