Chapter Thirteen

We rolled and tumbled down the hill. I hit my head on a rock my head was bleeding but I didn't care, I was to worried about Jimmy to be concerned with myself. I looked around for Jimmy and I saw him laying motionlessly in the grass. As I got closer I saw blood running down his head. I cried out in pain as I searched for his pulse. It was there but it was faint. I had to get him help. As I started to stand I realized I was naked. A low growl behind me made me snap my head up. I looked back and saw five rouges. I quickly shifted and stood over Jimmy. I bared my teeth and let out a deadly growl.
One rogue ran away, one down four to go. Two of them quickly advanced on me and I stood my ground, not wanting to leave Jimmy in his state. The first one jumped and I turned around and kicked it with my hind legs. It let out a yelp as it thudded to the ground and rolled over the cliff. The other just kept running at me while the other two circled me.
The second rogue faked left but came back to the right and caught me with his canines. I let out a wild growl and started kicking and biting. As I was thrashing around I noticed the third rogue running at Jimmy. He jumped on Jimmy and sunk his teeth into him. Jimmy screamed out in pain. That's when I started seeing red. All in one motion I jerked myself upwards and shifted in the air. I quickly shifted back into my wolf and landed on the rogues back with such force I broke it.
I immediately ran toward Jimmy only to be tackled and drug backwards as the other rogue continued to drag Jimmy away from me. Alessandra took control, she spun us around so we were on our back. She then kicked the rouge he went flying into the air. As he was descending to the ground she jumped up and took his neck in her mouth and slung him over the cliff. I felt like something was digging into my neck. I couldn't breathe for a second. Jimmy let out a whimper and my head snapped around. I looked up and saw the rogue had Jimmy's neck in his mouth. I took control. I shifted into my human form and grabbed a nearby branch. The whole time I was thankful there weren't any stickers in this field, I charged at the rogue with full speed. As I approached him I jumped up into the air and plunged the branch into the rogues back. I shifted when the rouge let out a howl that released Jimmy, and took him by the tail. I dragged him with every ounce of muscle I had left in me, I felt myself losing consciousness so I hurried up trying to quickly get him over to the edge of the cliff before I lost control and fell into the darkness that seemed to be calling my name. I finally go to the cliff and kicked him over it.
Breathing heavily I walked back to Jimmy and licked him, he moved slightly and I whimpered. I shifted, and tried to pick him up without hurting him and I tried to carry him home. I got about a mile in the woods and I hear another growl I looked up and saw the rogue that ran earlier I didn't have the strength to fight him so I called Vincent for help. Then I laid Jimmy down and shifted, I'll have to hold this rogue off until help came for us. I knew I was losing consciousness and I wouldn't be able to fight the darkness much longer, but I had to for both our sakes. The rouge launched itself at me and I hit the tree hard. I yelped out in pain. Before I blacked out I heard a vicious growl that sent shivers down my spine.

The last thing I saw before I blacked out was my mate standing across from us in all his beautiful glory. Then I blacked out.
Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep. I woke up to deep sparks and heavenly tingles with something warm laying beside me. I looked over to my right and I saw Vincent, who looked like a Greek God with his messy hair and godlike face. He was quietly snoring and he looked worried, and at the same time happy. Then I looked to my left and saw Jimmy. He was sound asleep, with his head on my bed and his arm was slung over my lap, while he was sitting in the chair, he was drooling. Thank God he's okay, I would have died if something happened to him. I giggled because I've never seen him drool before. I started playing with their hair and as if on sync they both woke up smiling at me.
"Well hello, sleepy heads!" I said to them.
"Hello." they say in unison and I giggle again.
" I thought I lost you Kitten, don't ever do that to me again. We almost had a heart attack!!" Vincent said near the brink of tears. I was going to reply but I was interrupted by Jimmy.
