Aera POV

It was a hectic day in the office, and I was running around trying to finish up some last-minute tasks before Sunoo came back from his meeting. As I was rushing down the hallway, I didn't notice the spill on the floor until it was too late. I slipped and fell backward, landing on my backside with a thud.

"Ouch," I groaned, rubbing my backside as I tried to get up.

Suddenly, I felt a pair of strong hands on my shoulders, helping me to my feet. I looked up and saw Sunoo looking at me with concern.

"Are you okay, Aera?" he asked, and I felt a flutter in my chest.

I had never been this close to him before in a really long time and I couldn't help but notice how handsome he looked. For a moment, I forgot all about the pain in my backside and just stared at him, lost in his gaze.

"I'm fine, thank you," I managed to say, feeling a little breathless.

Sunoo helped me to my feet, and our eyes met again. There was something about the way he was looking at me that made me feel like he cared about me. It was a strange feeling, and I couldn't quite explain it.

"Are you sure you're okay?" Sunoo asked still holding me.

As we stood there looking at each other, I couldn't help but feel like something had changed between us. I wasn't sure what it was, but I felt a sudden attraction to him that I couldn't explain. But I came back to my senses.

"Don't touch me," I spat out, still angry at him.

Sunoo looked taken aback by her reaction and took a step back. "I'm sorry," he said, looking genuinely remorseful. "I didn't mean to upset you."

I glared at him for a moment longer before turning away and walking off, ignoring Sunoo's attempts to talk to her. I couldn't believe that he had the nerve to act concerned about her after what he had done.

As the day wore on, I found it hard to concentrate on her work. The incident with Sunoo had shaken me up, and I couldn't stop thinking about it. I knew that I had to find a way to move on and forget about him, but I don't know how.

Eventually, the workday came to an end, and I gathered her things to leave. As I walked towards the elevator, I saw Sunoo waiting for me, his hands in his pockets.

"What do you want?" I asked, trying to keep her voice steady.

"I just wanted to apologize again," Sunoo said, looking earnest. "I know that I messed up, and I'm really sorry."

Aera looked at him sceptically. She didn't trust him, and she wasn't sure that she ever would again. "Save your apologies," she said, before walking away and leaving Sunoo behind.

As I walked out of the building, I knew that I still hated Sunoo, but I wasn't sure if anything could ever change that.
