Do You Know Isis?
Miranda hid her face behind her hand, as if she was blushing. James just would not quit staring at her! Her plan was finally being put into action. James Orduna was taking notice of her and soon enough, he'd be leaving from Isis' arms only to go crawling to Miranda's for a sample. That was fine by her.
Besides her plans and seductive ways, Miranda Realms was an average teenager. She loved soccer, basketball, and also football. She was very popular at her old school and intended to be at Beaufort Crest High, too. The problem was she needed a boyfriend for that. Someone hot...and popular.
That guy was to be James Orduna. Miranda suspected he might have a girlfriend already judging by his looks, but she would worry about that later. She didn't want to start a fight on her first day. Besides, Miranda always got what she wanted. She would not let that change here.
Miranda had tan, sunkissed skin and rich, wavy brown hair. Her pink highlights were straight though, giving her hair a sort of fake look. She honestly didn't care. She could take them out whenever she wanted. Her eyes were a dazzling shade of green that often lured boys to her, making her job way easier. These features were the key to her playing.
She looked over at James after he had stopped staring. He wasn't too bad himself. He had very dark brown eyes for a start. They looked like that Hersheys dark chocolate that your boyfriend would give you on St. Valentines Day. His skin color proved he was Mexican. His hair was jet black and spiked up to a mohawk.
He was perfect. Miranda could already feel the shivers of pleasure running through her veins at the thought of having another guy beg at her knees. But she had already done enough. Too many moves today would have been a little much. She decided it was time to talk to James' friends for a little while, just to find out more about her boyfriend-to-be.
Miranda stopped working on her English project and went over to James' friend, Evan. She could already tell that by the way Evan and James were exchanging looks with each other that they were clearly best of friends. She'd had a lot of experience picking out who was friends with who. She needed to be so she could get connections.
Evan was pretty tall, probably six foot, and was also pretty attractive. His dirty blond hair was short and wavy, curling at the end a bit. He was really pale with freckles and a nice body, most likely having some hard core abs underneath the green shirt he was wearing. He had a good pair of muscles on his arms too, possibly from football or athletics?
"Hey." She said casually, trying not to stir anything up.
"I got a girlfriend." Evan said immediately in defense as if Miranda's presence was going to kill him.
"Whoa, all I said was hi. If I wanted to fuck you, I'd have tried a different approach."
"Sorry. I'm sure if you had a boyfriend you would get it." Evan relaxed a bit.
"About that..." Miranda put a finger to her lips and pushed her hip to one side. " How much effort would it take to get that guy over there? You know, your friend?"
"James?" Miranda nodded. "Sorry, he's not for sale. He also has a girlfriend."
"What's her name?" she asked as sweetly as possible, trying to cover her interest a little. He needed to stop giving her information she already knew. Otherwise, this would all have been for nothing. She had a reputation to uphold.
"Isis," Evan stated simply.
Could this guy have been any more daft? He was not helping her in the slightest. She needed way more than that if she wanted to get James or even dig up a little dirt for that matter. Didn't this guy understand the art of playing? Of course he didn't. He was a stupid guy, probably on the football team, meaning he got hit in the head one too many times. Was she going to have to spell it out for him as well?
"I need a last name," she said in a duh tone.
"Why would I pay attention to what Isis' last name is? I'd probably get clubbed by my girlfriend if I knew too much about a girl other than her," he said more to himself than to Miranda. "Oh god, I can just imagine the fit she would throw..."
Miranda glared. "So that means you don't know then?"
Evan scratched the back of his head and squinted one eye closed. In a way, it was sort of cute. "Sorry. Maybe you could ask James about it. Surely he knows her last name."
Miranda could not believe what she was hearing. He was really starting to annoy her with all of his simple comments. Evidently he wasn't a very bright one. She sort of felt bad for treating him like a child, but she really needed some answers.
"I can't just ask him. That would lead to suspicion. Do you know what that means? I don't think you do, but either way, I really can't waltz up to him and ask him his girlfriend's last name."
Evan shrugged. "You could ask a teacher? Look, I don't know. Why are you asking me anyway?"
"Cause I can. It's the United States. I have every right to."
"Well, I could just tell you that Isis is in this room but I won't take my chances," Evan quipped with a smile on his face. She had to have caught that.
"That's jacked up! Why won't you tell-" Miranda stopped and thought. Then she smiled. "You're bad! Where in this room?"
Evan put his hands on his head. "Sorry I can't do that. I am limited only to the questions that don't require the wheels of my brain to turn."
Miranda clenched and unclenched her fist over and over again, deciding whether or not to punch him. "Well then make them turn," she growled.
"It's not that easy. I have to get something in return."
This was aggrivating her, but she covered it up with a smirk. Acting classes really did pay off in the end. "Oh! So a deal? How much?" she asked, already reaching into her back pocket to get to the wadded up dollar bills she had shoved into her pocket for lunch money.
He raised his eyebrows. "I don't want your money. I want... a hug."
Miranda quirked up her eyebrows as well, but they held an entirely different meaning. What did he want a hug from her for? So he could pickpocket her and steal all of her money? She really needed to stop showing off her cash.
She looked up at him with wary eyes. She didn't see what the big deal was. It was after all just a hug, yet why would he want just a hug in return for information when she had so much more to offer on the table? "But I thought you had a girlfriend," she said slowly.
Evan laughed. It was a cute laugh, yet it seemed to be lacking the humor that most laughs held. It seemed he was suppressing something behind that laugh, but she couldn't figure out what. Miranda suddenly wanted to hear his real laugh, to see if it was as beautiful as this laugh had been. She quickly shook the thoughts from her head, however. She was supposed to be going for James. She had spoken to this guy for way too long already.
Without waiting for a reply, she quickly wrapped her arms around him. She might as well get this over with. What she didn't expect, however, was for Evan to tighten his grip and hold onto Miranda even longer than she expected. She began to panic. She couldn't get out of his grip! She immediately regretted this hug.
Ugh! I should have known he was a football player by his muscles! There was nothing she could do now except wait it out and pretend like that was the best hug of her life. Boys were jerks. All boys were jerks. She saw that now. Miranda had thought that perhaps dumb guys named Evan were an exception, but obviously, he had just wanted to feel her up.
Did he just touch my butt?! Miranda asked herself. She was shocked but managed to get out, "You pervert!"
Evan looked back with a big smile on his face.
Manslut.
