Ariana Grande song challenge: Piano

Another song though for this chapter could be Everybody Talks by Neon Trees, if you're getting tired of Ariana Grande lol.

Tonight was it. The night of the party. James couldn't wait. He rolled up to the front of Evan's house and honked the horn before sighing and slumping in the driver's seat. A few seconds later, the door opened, revealing Evan on the other side. He had on some dark wash jeans and a Tom Brady jersey.

When Evan got to the passenger door and climbed inside, James rolled his eyes. "Tom Brady? Really?"

Evan smirked. "Of course that's the first thing you'd notice. Tom Brady is the beast, okay? Unlike Peyton Manning."

"You know that Broncos are so much better than the Patriots. My team could beat yours any day."

"Only in your dreams dude."

After a few seconds of laughing, James shifted the car out of park and they began heading to Isis' house.

"So do you think Miranda is going to the party tonight?"

James shot his best friend a confused look. "Miranda? Who's that?"

"The new girl James. The really hot new girl."

That seemed to ring a bell. James was suddenly taken back in time to study hall earlier today. He immediately remembered the new girl. That was right, her name was Miranda. Evan did her no justice when he said she was really hot. The girl was a goddess.

James quickly shook his head. No, she was a seductive snake. At least that was what Isis had told him anyway. Yeah, Miranda had an amazing body, one James might have paid more attention to if he was single, but he had Isis, and he was happy with her. Surely Miranda could never give him what Isis could.

"You should forget about that one Evan. She's nothing but bad news for us taken guys." Evan winced and James immediately felt guilty. "Shit. Sorry, that's right. You're single now."

Evan sighed. "Usually when I'm newly single, I'd be jumping for joy and be happy to move onto the next girl...but not this time. I was really trying to settle for Sylv, you know?"

"I know dude. I know, but maybe she's just not right for you man. I know you really liked her-"

"Like. I really like her."

"Yeah, that, but come on. Do you really want your girl blowing up like that every time you make a joke?"

Evan looked away from his friend and out the window. "You don't understand man."

A few moments later, James arrived at his girlfriend's house. He didn't even have to honk the horn. Isis flew out of the house. Of course not the usual way one would leave the house. She was taking a little detour, also known as the window.

James took the time to admire his girlfriend as she walked towards his car, fixing her outfit on the way. She was wearing a thick shoulder strap crop top and some high waisted shorts. Her hair was twisted in loose curls and put into a messy ponytail. Just the way James liked it. He always thought a ponytail suited Isis well.

"Your parents don't know you're going to this party?" Evan asked when Isis made it to the car.

"No, of course not! Why would I tell them I'm going to a party where there'll most likely be drunk teenagers and suspicious brownies or baked goods laying around on the kitchen counter? Come on Evan. Don't be stupid. Do your parents know?"

"Well no, I just said I was sleeping over at James' house though so I didn't have to sneak away. It's so much easier than sneaking out of a window on the second floor."
