Woe Shit...

I look back through tears, I see a gasping Wednesday, but then my eyes widen and focus on what I was most worried about. I small pool of red liquid was forming from where she was laying. Then I quickly realized it was blood.

I look at her, not wanting to leave her, the overwhelming need to help her coursing through me... But at the same time, I am afraid of hurting her further. She is most likely upset with me, and wants me gone, but I caused her pain, to bleed, and I feel like I need to help her. But I run and as soon as I am about to leave, Thing stops me before I can make it out the door in to the hallway.

"Where are you going?? What happened here?!" He signed quickly. I can only feel myself start to sob even harder and I quickly push past him, throwing the door open, and rush down into the hall. I don't care where I end up, but she'll be safe as long as I am away from her.

I'm nothing but a monster...

I run through the empty halls, finally leaving Nevermore and entering into the woods. I start running in different directions to try and lower the possibility of Wednesday tracking me down and finding me. But in the way I ran, I accidentally found my way to the Gates' mansion. The same one where Wednesday lied to me about a girls night out, the place we almost died by the Hyde who turned out to be Tyler. The place was even more creepy and deserted than before, but Wednesday knows how much I hated being here, so it will be the last place she will look. I just need time to rest before I run again.

I walk up to the side of the house and find one of the windows has been broken and it's big enough for me to jump through. I hit the floor and the sound echoes throughout the house. I shudder as the memories come flooding back to me, making me tear up again.

I walk through the empty house, a soft whimper escaping my throat at every little sound the floors make as I step. But one of the memories that came back to me was how Wednesday saved us with the snood I made her.

I decide to try my luck and see if I can get it.

Although this place scares me and I don't deserve Wednesday after almost killing her, I want to get the snood incase I get the chance to apologize to her... To give it back to her... She probably doesn't want it but... I can try... If not, I'll keep it and... use it as a reminder that I am nothing but a monster who hurts people... Who hurt the one they trust...

I make my way toward the dumbwaiter. The same place her and I almost died. The same place she used her snood to save us. I told her they would come in handy!

But as I approach it, I notice it has already been dismantled and the snood is missing. Which is odd... I never came back for it, and I am pretty sure Wednesday never had since then... Thing would have said something if she was risking her life to go back for it...

But I didn't get a chance to dwell on it any longer as a voice speaks up behind me.

"Well... Good to see you again, Mutt." I entire body tenses as my claws unsheathe themselves as I turn around to see none other than...

Tyler.

It has completely escaped my mind that this could easily become Tylers hide out or even Thornhill's, if either or both managed to escape. But my senses failed me again... I didn't even smell or hear him... I should've heard or smelled Wednesday when she was entering the dorm, yet I hurt her.

"What brings you back here and where's your precious body guard, dog?" He smirks menacingly and I grit my teeth.

"I kicked your ass once, I'll do it again!" I growl and lunge toward him as soon as he makes the first move.

Wednesday's POV
I'm laying on the ground, coughing and gasping for air. I start to sit up but when I do, I see a small drop of blood hit the floor. The last person I ever expected to do something like that would be Enid. I am both proud and worried. She did enough to draw blood and catch me by surprise, but I don't see her in the room anymore.

I finally sit with my back against the wall and feel my neck. It's slightly wet and warm. When I look at my fingers, I see that they are covered in blood, the blood dripping down them onto my hands. I keep feeling my neck and feel the holes where her fingernails were digging into me. I didn't feel a lot of pain, but while she had me against the wall, I knew she didn't recognize me right away. Which is worrisome. Her nose and ears should have picked up my scent and footsteps before I even entered the room.

I stay against the wall for a moment, the room is spinning a little and I feel ill. I see Thing frantically tapping but I cannot figure out anything he is trying to say. But as I touch my neck again, I have a vision.

I an standing in the silent woods, the woods seem to be the one around Nevermore, frantic and fresh tracks covering the ground. But as I start to follow them, I hear a deafening scream echo through the woods. But before I can run toward it, I am thrown back to reality. I'm breathing heavily and I muster enough energy to move.

I eventually manage to stand myself up and stumble to the bathroom. I left a first aid kit in the bathroom connected to our dorm, I can only hope it's still there. As I throw open the cabinet, I grab it and pull out bandages, gauze, cleaning alcohol, and anything else I may need. As I look in the mirror, I see the marks left by Enid's claws.

I can't help but allow the corner of my mouth to curve into a smile when I see the blood dripping from my neck and knowing Enid could have easily killed me right then and there.

Enid...

She probably thinks she killed me. Sadly she failed. But for Enid to run? That doesn't seem like her. She barely can hurt a worm before crying about it. Unless she ran out of fear?

I quickly clean up my wounds and bandage them well. I put away the first aid kit and I throw open the door and sigh at the empty room. As I step into the silence, Thing starts frantically signing.

"What happened?! Why are you bleeding and why did Enid run away sobbing? Did she hurt you??"

I roll my eyes.

"No Thing. She was having a nightmare and I scared her. I shouldn't have snuck up on her while she was asleep. I assume her werewolf instincts kicked in and she grabbed me by the throat, holding me against the window while she dug her nails into me." I say truthfully. "I am not upset with her. But where did she go?" I ask, almost worried.

"I don't know. She ran into the hallway" He signs and I sigh, immediately exiting the dorm and down the hall.

I have to find her.
