I sat next to Uncle Bruce at his lab table, watching him conduct experiments. Nobody was ever allowed in Bruce's lab, especially not when he was working. Of course, I was the exception. Malana was never allowed in the lab, she would no doubt ruin an experiment or explode something. But not me. I just sat at the table in silence, and watched. Watching him work was calming to me. It was completely obvious how much he loved what he did, and how passionate he was about science.

He poured a green liquid into a vial filled with a pink liquid, watching it shimmer and fizz. He cursed, scribbling furiously in his notebook. I guess that reaction didn't factor well into his calculations. I peeked over at the notebook, curious. It was a whole manner of science equations, so complex that I had no way of understanding their meanings. I had inherited my parents' intelligence, yes, but mine nowhere near matched Uncle Bruce nor Uncle Tony's minds. I didn't think anyone's did. They were the smartest men on the planet as far as I was concerned.

"So, you said you wanted to talk to me about something?" He asked, placing his large goggles on his forehead and watching me with concerned eyes.

"Uhm, yes," I stared at the cold, steel table, assembling my thoughts (hehe, assemble) "How do you think Dad would react... If I told him I was bisexual?"
