(after wedding intro is Jasons outfit)
November, crisp cold and busier than ever before as Jason, Dick and Alfred planned a wedding. Finally, it was the day, Dick hoped he looked ready as he made sure he had his half of their good luck charms. Something old, Jason had a set of cufflinks from the first gala Bruce made him attend. Something new, Dicks crown. Something borrowed, Jason wore a tie pin from Alfred. And something blue, Dick's whole suit!
He fussed with his hair again, Tim taking his hands and making him stop. "You look perfect. You're gonna be okay."
Smiling, and holding back tears, Dick hugged his little brother.
Across the Manor Jason straightened his suit again, uncertain if he looked stupid or if that was his nerves talking. With a sigh he turned away from the mirror, letting Alfred straighten his hair again, as he'd messed it up.
Damian nodded approvingly, before grabbing the basket of flower petals off the table and forcing himself to smile. "This is ridiculous." He bit back a threat, wanting to be nice for his brothers wedding day.
Clark was crying quietly into a tissue while Bruce finished up preparing for the wedding. His hormones were going nuts, and his stomach had ballooned just enough that he couldn't button his suit jacket. They still hadn't figured out how to tell the world about the baby, but so far the best excuses were a private surrogate or adoption. Clark just didn't think those would work if anyone saw him get any bigger.
Finally, he dried his tears and smiled. The sun caught Bruce's hair just right and gave him an ethereal glow. Bruce, smiling with tears sparkling in his eyes, took Clark by the hand and led him to his seat.
Roy Harper smiled, waving awkwardly at them as he took the ring bearer pillow and went to his position. Wally West sped around the room, unable to calm down when he saw Clarks stomach. Alfred however, grabbed the speedy mans collar and gave him a look so disappointed that he immediately went to his position and stayed perfectly still for the next few minutes.
Everyone at the ceremony was a super or close friend aware of the world. Although the reception would be more of an appearances gala, this was going to be the perfect intimate ceremony.
Finally, the intro music started.
First walked down Wally, then Roy, finally Damian throwing the petals. At the alter Wally is standing as Dick's best man, Roy as Jason's and Damian is standing beside Wally.
Then Jason walks down the aisle, smiling at everyone with more joy than ever seen on his face before.
And after a small dramatic pause, out walks Dick. His simple circlet crown rests on his forehead adding a regal touch to the vibrant suit. In his hands is a bouquet of baby's breath, white roses and pretty green ferns. Holding his hand is Bruce, with a teary smile he hands Dick's hand to Jason and takes his seat.
Alfred, officiating their wedding, reads the vows, "Richard John Grayson, do you take Jason Peter Todd to be your husband?"
"I do." He beamed at Jason, accepting the ring from Roy to put on Jasons finger. "From the moment we met I knew you were special, I could never have guessed that I would be lucky enough to marry you. From stopping the end of the world, to being the start of the rest of mine, I trust you with my whole heart and I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with you. I love you."
"And Jason Peter Todd, do you take Richard John Grayson as your husband?"
"I do." He takes Dick's hand and puts the ring on gently, as if moving too suddenly would make him wake up from the perfect dream that is today. "I never dreamt I would be allowed a happy ending, love or a moment like this. But I must be dreaming, because you are the most perfect man to ever exist and you chose me. I don't deserve to have you, but I will show you love beyond compare for as long as you'll have me. I love you."
"You may kiss the groom!"
Jason slipped his hand behind Dick's neck, pulling him close for a soft sweet kiss. The crowd cheered and threw masks, like the ones Dick wears and Jason wears under his helmet. This made them laugh, holding hands and walking down the aisle as all of their loved ones cheered them on. A locket, hanging around Dick's neck carried his families pictures, for all of the loved ones who couldn't be there for him.
And with happy tears, they made their way to the reception, where nonsuper guests would be arriving any moment.
