Adhyay you promised me something that you will think about getting married bacha-prathiba stated caressing his hairs.
He hummed remembering how his mother emotionally blackmailed him to give into her wish .
Bacha i have found a perfect bahu (daughter in law) for you who will love you , support you and most importantly who will accept you for the person who you are- pratibha stated with a hint of excitement in her voice.
Adhyay was surprised to know that his mother has already found out a girl to get him married.He knew that his mother was eager to get him hitched but this fast .

Adhyay nodded his head not knowing how to react to this sudden blast of information that his mother told him .
Don't you want to know about her- prathiba nudged him seeing his lack of response.
Maa i don't care who it is....if you like her then i am ok with anyone -he replied already bored of this conversation.

Adhyay it's not me who is getting married here.bacha it's you two who will be spending the whole life together....your views your choices matters beta.....Prathiba tried to put some sense in her stubborn sons mind.
Maa i trust you with everything....if you like her and are so confident about her then i don't have anything to worry about -he told her making her smile.
What if i tell you that you know her very well - prathiba tried to intrigue him and that seemed to finally work .
Adhyay turned towards his mother and asked quriking his brows -who is she??
Prathiba after taking a dramatic pause said-"Abha Chauhan "
Adhyay took a moment to digest this and then abruptly sit ups and said -what???
Abha Chauhan as in our Abha ....
Prathiba smiled listing to 'our' and nodded her head.
Maa are you even listening to your own self .How can I marry Abha....no that's not possible.i never looked at her in that way maa.if this is some kind of joke then i am not liking it -Adhyay huffed standing up .
Why do you think i will joke about such serious matter Adhyay....and what is wrong in marrying Abha....we all know how kind ,humble and innocent she is..she is beautiful inside out....bacha and the best part is we all know about her....you will never find a girl more suitable then Abha bache . pratibha tried to make him understand.
But maa how can I ....i just can't maa.Adhyay was feeling frustrated with all of these sudden turn of event .
Do you like some one else if not then tell me one valid reason and i will drop this proposal - prathiba argued.
Adhyay rubbed his face feeling uneasy at the thought of marrying Abha.
Maa what she will think about me if she gets to know about your proposal -Adhyay asked in a calm tone.
Abha already likes you Adhyay -Prathiba dropped another bomb.
Adhyay was shocked ....his face frowned and he narrowed his eyes at his mother and uttered-what??? She likes me ! But how is that possible..we never talked...heck we never had a normal conversation other then formally greeting eachother.
How ,when where that are not my things to tell....you can ask her urself but yes she likes you and that's a fact Prathiba stated.
Think about it with a calm mind bacha ....take your time -saying this prathiba walked out leaving a confused shocked , surprising and a frustrated Adhyay behind.

Sleep was no where near Adhyay after his conversation with his mother.he didn't knew how to react to this situation.
He never felt like this before......
Finally sleep overpowered him in the early hours.

Happiest birthday my dear Daadiiiiiiii-Arohi sing sang jumping up and down as surekha came out of Pooja room .
Surekha smiled brightly engulfing her granddaughter in a hug pressing a kiss on her forehead.
Prabirha wished her mother in law touching her feet and feeding her kheer(rice pudding).
Surekha was excited like a toddler as today is her birthday and she will get to eat all sweets and food of her choice...and no one will deny her making excuse of her bp and sugar specially her Hitler grandson Adhyay.
Adhyay came down and wished his grandmother who grinned widely - happy birthday Daadi!
Surekha blessed him and mischievously reminded him of her gift that she has demanded few days ago.
Adhyay shaked at his head at his grandmothers bluntness and her unsusl demands.
They all settled at the dinning table for breakfast.
Arohi came up with the laptop 💻....the shehkwat family was on video call and they wished surekha.
Adhyay become attentive when he heard a particular voice wishing his daadi over the video call .....
He wanted to peek in and look at her but then shaked his head to shrug off all those thoughts.
