chapter 10

After having the delicious dinner all settled in the living area and Shekar brought up the topic of their marriage .
As both Adhyay and Abha has given their consent for this proposal we should proceed further -shekar asked looking at nobody in particular.
Ji bhai shabh ....subh kaam mei der Kasi -Prathiba agreed nodding at Shekar.
(Why to delay the good deed)
Yeahhh i am really excited for bhai's and Abha di wedding -arohi chimmed excited.
Abha was feeling very shy all of a sudden and Adhyay was in deep thoughts.
Kal hi pandit ji se baat kar k mei koi acha muhurat niklawa leti hu  , ku maa- Prathiba suggested.
(I will ask our family priest for the suitable date and time for the ocassion)
Haa ab inki jaldi se shaddi karwa do or mujhe apne par -pote, poti(great grandchildren )dedo-shurkeha  said agreeing with pratibha.
(Get them married soon and give me my great grandchildrens)

Abha blushed hard at the mension of babies and left the place hurriedly.
Everybody laughed at her shy nature.
Adhyay was getting uncomfortable with all of this and decided to leave too.

The elders continued the discussion with Arohi and Kabir giving their non-heeded suggestions.

Abha was sitting in the garden area feeling elated and looking at the moon when she felt somebody's presence behind her.

Adhyay came out to breathe in some fresh air and to clear out his mind, when he saw Abha in the garden area.
He wanted to clear out so many things and decide to talk to her on this matter.

Abha turned around to look at Adhyay who was standing there with his hands inside his pants pocket looking so hot and dashing with those muscular arms bulging out of his Blue shirt.
Adhyay cleared his throat to gain her attention and Abha came out of her gwaking session feeling embarrassed.

We need to talk-Adhyay said in serious tone making her nod.
They both settled down on the bench beside each other maintaining safe distance.
Look Abha ,all this proposal and marriage thing is very new to me and I don't know what you feel about it but I want to clear out few things before we proceed further.
I was not ready for any commitment or marriage thing but then maa wanted  me to get married and she is too fond of you .
I can do anything for her happiness,after baba she was the one who handled us ,supported us.she has faced a lot in her life .I can trade anything in this world for her smile.
I will try to fulfill all my responsibilities as a husband .But don't expect me to change or something like that.I am who I am .I have temper issues and i like things a certain way and i don't want to temper with any of that.I will not meddle in your life unnecessarily and i expect the same from you. Adhyay completed with a sigh looking at her straight in the eyes.

Abha knew about his nature but she admired the way he was protective of his family and loved his mother beyond limits.He is a man of few words but still he discussed all of these things with her made her feel good .
Abha nodded not knowing what to say.
Her brain stops working and she forgot all the vocabulary in this world in his presence. He has such an impact on her and she hated to admit it .
She knew he don't feel the way she feels for him but she believed with time he will surely reciprocate her feelings.

Adhyay looked her waiting for her to say something.
I understand... and i will try to give my 100 percent to this relationship -Abha finally muttered looking at him .
A small smile stretched on his lips that may go unnoticed if Abha was not observing him for so close.
Maybe things were not that difficult as she was taking it to be.
Adhyay nodded and then left leaving a surprised Abha behind who smiled and blushed thinking about their future.

What future have in store for Abha and Adhyay????
