"Old man Kizaru?!"Sentomaru was shocked but worried as he managed to finally get a hold of Stussy of tele-snail.
"That's right...CP0's missions is to eliminate Dr.Vegapunk and wait for Kizaru to arrive."
"The government sounds hell-bent on this plan."
"Indeed. They must see this as an even graver set of circumstances then Ohara...for one, Dr.Vegapunk had picked up and continued...the forbidden research that doomed Ohara. And, two...Egghead had military power...that Ohara did not."
"Enough reason for them to send an unexpected amount of force."
"Just call me directly if something happens! The Labophase's communications systems are all down!" Stussy commanded Sentomaru as she hung up.
Fabriophase
"You heard all that? You want to know what the Navy's going to do here? Look at history!!You don't have time to sit on your hands, people!!!" Sentomaru commanded the people counting on him to keep them safe.
"Everyone onto the ships!! We've gotta evacuate this island!!"
"Before the Navy gets here!!"
"Everybody do what Sentomaru says!!!"
3F, Building C, Laboratory
"Usopp!! Lilith!!" Franky yelled seeing the two become stone. "Why, you snotty little brat!!! Undo this petrifaction right now!! I may have gotten sloppy and lost my right side, but I still got my left!! If you surrender now...I'll go eat on ya!!" Franky yelled trying to get the girl to fight him even though he couldn't move.
S-Snake was basically ignoring Franky and looked to her right when she saw the head of Pythagoras.
"Why have you done this S-Snake?! Who ordered you to- -" Pythagoras didn't get to finish as S-Snake crunched him under her foot and started waking away as explosions happened and ignored Franky yelling for her to stop.
2F, Building A
"I hope everyone's all right!!! I keep hearing explosions and screams!!" Chopper exclaimed as he was with Robin and Atlas.
"We know for sure that the seraphim are fighting."
"Gahhh! I just don't get why!!"
"Well, if Nami screams, we know there's someone who will be there in a heartbeat. Any team currently fighting will be locked in combat. So while everyone is busy battling it out...something could be happening to Vegapunk in the meantime!!" Robin explained as herself, Chopper and Atlas moved.
That's a good point."
"That reminds me, there's one lab that we used in the past, but that's been locked up for a while. I don't know why he might want to visit such a place, but..."
"Let's go take a look, then! Lead the way, Atlas!!"
"You got it!!"
3F, Building A
"Hang in there Edison!!" Nami was holding the damaged Edison.
Besides her laying on the floor was Brook who was using his soul. "Tell you what! I'll go search for Vegapunk! Hm? Ah!! Sanji?!"
Sanji had taken a fist to the face and was standing in the same spot smiling as he was barely harmed, he said it was the power of love.
4F, Building A
Luna's P.O.V
I was panting as myself, Zoro and Luffy landed back again besides Lucci and Kaku, all of us panting heavily and we were getting frustrated as we were all trying to get the black flames to go out on the backs of the Seraphim.
"Dammit! They just won't disappear...those flames on their backs are stubborn!!" Zoro spoke out loudly as he had two of his three blades out.
I frowned looking to the flames. "They don't even flicker, they're stronger then Kings." I cursed when I noticed the same time as Luffy that S-Hawk was gone and I had a bad feeling and nudged Zoro. "We'll deal with this one, I'm sure Sanji went to Nani's rescue, but not everyone is together I'm sure Robin can keep her group safe."
Zoro looked to me seriously and nodded his head. "Keep the captain safe."
"With my life." As Zoro ran off I bit back a smile cause Luffy was ordering Kaku around and called him Usopp which got a snicker out of me.
Lucci heard and he gave a slight smirk as he watched Kaku run off after Zoro. He spoke to me mentally thanks to the bond. 'You trust Kaku to help out?'
'Luffy does...and I know you guys want to capture us as well.'
'You know I don't want to see anything bad happen to you love. I want to capture you another way, with you as my wife.' He stood close near me as we kept an eye on S-Bear.
I was surprised but smiled softly. 'Let's win here first before we worry about future plans. But I would love to be your wife Lucci.'
"Gum-Gum HAWK GATLING!!! Go out already, stupid fire!!!"
"Use your head Straw Hat!! You're never going to beat him fighting that way!!!" Lucci shouted to Luffy.
I looked to Lucci and then Luffy and nodded my head. "Your not wrong, there has to be a weakness...there has to be."
Report outside everything
This had been a record of the events before the day of the famous Egghead incident...but it's course was set in motion three months prior.
The World Government leaders learnt that Vegapunk was studying the Void Century and hence they had started dispatching Cipher Agents to Egghead and from there they were disappearing and not returning back to where they had come from. CP7 and CP8 had been met with the same fate and after a discussion between the five elders and unknown figure...the genius scientists betrayal had been made clear. The elder made the call to have Dr.Vegapunk assassinated. Cipher Pol Aigis-0 undertook the mission...but, anticipating a counter attack by Vegapunk the elders chose to make a visit in person, with Admiral Kizaru as protection.
Reinforcements were requested from Naval bases far and wide. The deployment made it clear that they were expecting war. And into that situation sailed through ship of Straw Hat Luffy, Emperor of the sea. The arrive of this unexpected variable unsettled the government m. But regardless the resolution of this incident the following day would inflict a kind of shock the world never saw coming.
The Locked Lab
"Was this all your doing?! Answer me!!"
"Hey Stella!! You know what? I'm gonna be a celestial dragon. The world one needs...one Dr.Vegapunk..."
"What nonsense is this, York?! You to Marijoa years ago!! And you really want to be one those ghastly horrid people?!"
York start laughing as she said that is exactly what Shaka would have said if he wasn't already dead.
