Chapter 8

Luna's P.O.V
It was crazy with all the fighting everywhere and our crew trying to escape, I thought we had gotten lucky and that none of the elders would find us but I was wrong. I cursed barely deflecting an attack from Saturn as he had come after Robin and Nami had thrown herself to Robin to help protect her.

Luffy was still with the giant brothers headed our way for the time being the rest of us would have to make due with what we had and cover each others backs.

As we were getting the ship off the island another one of the Elders tried to get to us and thankfully Zoro got him away. "ZORO!"

"Guard the ship Luna!"

I nodded my head as we were soon getting the ship off the island, Zoro had stayed back to fight and I knew that Jimbei would ensure that everyone eventually united. Edison had left to make sure that the barrier wouldn't stop our ship and I looked to our crew as we headed to the sea.

"Did anyone think of a way to stop this ship?!" Lilith yelled which gained laughter from Brook.

"Not really!" Brook replied as they ship hit the water and himself and a few of us managed to keep our balance and as the mist of water cleared I smirked and moved to the front of our ship and teased my blade hearing the snarls emitting from it.

I could hear Lilith talking to Edison or trying to, I didn't like that he sacrificed himself to make sure we escaped and I withdrew Hell Dancer hearing the snarls and jumped flipping in the air. "HELLS DEMISE!!" Swinging my blade and I easily took out a couple battle ships and many people ended up hurt or in the water.

I sighed as I landed back on our ship and looked up when I saw Luffy fighting back the enemy as Jimbei and Zoro ended up going with some of the giants along with Sanji. What shocked me was seeing Bonney looking like Luffy's form but it was amusing at the same time as much of those in the marines were turned into children. At one point one of the giants ships sailed near ours and I looked over knowing Luffy and them had managed to fight off the elders and we could head out. "Let's head out! Follow the giants to Elbaph and we'll meet up with the rest later on!!" I gave out orders and soon we took off and I walked to the front where the rest of the crew plus Lilith were.

"Thank you StrawHats. You kept your promise to me." Lilith spoke with a big smile confusing all of us till it dawned on me.

"That's right, Vegapunk didn't necessarily say that it would be him specifically that we would be taking from Egghead. But you're apart of him." I spoke.

"That's right and I know him and the rest aren't dead, we can still synch up I would know if they're done and I promise they're very much alive." Lilith smiled and the crew cheered as I giggled and let them do what they wanted as I walked up to the steering wheel and sat on the railing as we travelled. I thought about the broadcast where we learnt nine hundred years before; the entire world had been underwater and the weapons that made it possible back then were very much around.

The giant robot we seen when we had come had helped us escape it woke up when it sensed JoyBoy...the person who finds Rogers treasure will truly be the pirate king...for they would have the fate of the world in their hands. But what we learnt from the Broadcast was the entire world will eventually sink into the ocean permanently.

'LUNA!' Lucci called from our mental connection and I slightly jumped having spaced out and smiled feeling Franky place a hand on my shoulder and I sent him a small smile in thanks and got down walking to my room.

'I'm alright. Did you...Stussy is she?' I had a bad feeling...she hadn't caught up to us when we left the island, I looked to my hand where the lipstick container she had was in my hand. It was the sea stone she had used on Lucci and Kaku, she had handed it to me before we left and I sat on my bed and pulled my knee to my chest.

'Yes. I got rid of the traitor like I said I would do. Are you alright though?'

I sighed softly. 'Physically I'm fine aside from some minor cuts and bruises and exhausted. Mentally and emotionally I don't know, but I will be alright eventually. What about your wounds?'

'I've already been tended to darling. Myself and Kaku are both alright and already on board...although we learnt that Vegapunk is alive and escaped on the clouds with part of the lab.'

I chuckled softly as I heard that. 'And we have a Vegapunk with us. Why didn't you tell me that your fruit fully woke up? Is it because I'm your enemy? Or is now that we will be hunted by all of the marines and the world worse then ever?'

Lucci was quiet and I could feel the anger rising and merely let it. I knew I could have calmed him but the anger wasn't specifically aimed at myself so much as it was aimed at the thoughts of what was to happen next. 'No one will hunt you in the marines that you personally know.'

'That's where you're very much wrong my love. Two years ago not long after myself and Luffy left our island we met a boy and saved him from another pirate, he helped us to save a town and in turn I helped him to get into the marines under the guidance of Garp. I know Garp good...and I know that boy now is a man and he lives with pride to his title and the marine name. He will come, he will do everything in his power to stop us...to stop Luffy. When they all come we won't run, we won't hide or quit...we will stand and fight; it will be a blood bath with lives lost. When they come I will honour my people and show my pride as an assassin as I defeat all my opponents.' Hearing a commotion on deck and I headed out to hear cheering and smiled hurrying out seeing the giants around us and Luffy was awake.

I walked over to my brother, my captain and gently placed a hand on his shoulder and smiled softly. "We kept our promise to Vegapunk. He never said it was his real self that would be with, and we know that he is alive brother that's what matters."

Luffy hugged me and I returned it as he whispered in my ear and I smiled softly tears in my eyes looking to Luffy and nodded my head before we started to have a big celebration with our friends the giants and I giggled having a drink. I could hear Lucci mentally purring but I knew he was exhausted. 'Do they know where we're going?'

'Without a doubt darling. The marines and the World Government will know that you're headed to Elbaph; keep your guards up cause without a doubt you're getting closer to Shanks.' Lucci spoke sounded tired in more then one way, he felt like I felt.

'I know, I recognize some of these waters. To think those two years with Shanks and I was this close...Luffy handed me what you slipped to him. There will never be anyone else for me Lucci.' Having the engagement ring in it's box in my hand and I smiled softly at the simplicity but the beauty of it.

'There is no one else for me love, no matter what happens you have me forever.' Lucci replied showing me he had his ring and I slid mine onto a necklace so I could hide it in my shirt to keep it safe.
