AFTER TWO LONG minutes of vouching for Sam's innocence, almost everyone agreed that the woman had nothing to do with the killings. Cameron stated multiple facts in Sam's favor, but despite the truth staring her in the face, Amber held her ground. She only settled because she had to leave and the man was blocking the exit.

Once she left, the remaining five people, aside from Cameron, glanced at one another. If they knew one thing to be true, it's that he was nowhere near being over Sam. The passion to clear her name had proved that. But they wouldn't dare bring that up for discussion, knowing he thought he'd been secretive all those years before.

Cameron and Sam had known each other since they were only five years old. They met in kindergarten when Sam helped him clean up after falling off the swings, and have continued to stay by each others side ever since. There was a time when being at Sam's house became more natural than breathing. He was always over; either working on assignments, being hopeless romantics about their nonexistent relationships, or helping babysit Tara and her friends. It wasn't a surprise when he noticed his heart beat for Sam. For him it was as clear as day because 'how could I not fall for Sam?' he thought. It wasn't the things that they had in common that made him love her, it was for everything that set her apart.

This was proven when Sam found out the awful truth about her father. It was the only thing that she had kept from him back then. It was the truth that caused her to sprout lies, pushing him away. However, her tries to push him away failed miserably as no matter what, he always found the root to her heart. Sam used to believe she had one soft spot, namely for her sister. But every time Cam showed up at her door, she was reminded that she had two.

Gale Weathers used to be conflicted about her son's disappearance to the Carpenter house. She knew that her son had a massive crush on the younger girl, and was happy that he could trust someone outside of their family despite everything they had went through. But besides that she was also scared that the girl would hurt him. Either by stabbing him in the back, both physically or emotionally, but overall that she would break his heart. Through the years with nothing except love being cherished between the two, Gale was proven wrong, happily so. She, just like everyone else, could see the hidden love that they held for each other and understood that whatever happens is meant to happen.
