CAMERON'S ATTENTION WAS directed away from Dewey and shifted to the loud commotion that was happening behind his back. He quickly recognized Sam's alerted voice and it was enough for him to apologetically look at the older man and move towards the yelling.
"Who's at the hospital?" He quickened his phase and watched as the woman panicked more and more with every second that passed. "Who's watching my sister?"
"I just heard about the sherif." The police officer defended himself. He'd been at the hospital a few minutes ago, watching over the younger Carpenter who'd been Ghostface victim in the first attack. "They needed me here!"
Before Cameron could get to the conversation, Sam started running. She was extremely worried about her younger sister who was without protection at the hospital. The girl was injured, and it was a no brainer that Ghostface would go after her to finish up the job he'd started.
Without a second thought he followed after the woman to her car. "Sam!" She glanced behind her and relief instantly filled her eyes at the sight of him. "Where are you going?"
"Tara is in trouble!" Samantha fumbled with her car keys, trying to unlock her car as quickly as possible. The stress made her hands shake, her mind running wild with thoughts. What if she was too late? "She's alone at the hospital, Cameron!"
"I'll go with you." The brunette quickly shook her head. There was no way she was letting Cameron put himself in danger. However, he quickly took the keys from her hand and unlocked the car for her. She let out a heavy sigh, but nodded and got inside her car.
They strapped themself into the car and got ready to hurry off. Sam took the keys from his outstanding hand and turned the vehicle on.
