Nightmare (Kian Lawley)

Chapter 16

Alex P.O.V.
"Can we go by my house, I'll get some clothes and other makeup , quit using your phone charger." I say looking over at him. He just simply nods and takes the turn to my house.
We soon pull in front of my baby blue house that look very pretty from the outside, but that wasn't the case on the inside.
"I'll be right back." I say again as he kisses my cheek letting me go out the door. He looked worried but I brushed it off and made my way to the front door.
The key under the mat is gone, so I go to the living room window sliding it open. My nose scrunches up as I take a deep breath in, smelt like bleach. My body barely fits through the window but I finally get it open revealing a clean living room.
"What the hell? It's clean?" I mutter and start to walk up the stairs. There were alcohol bottles in boxes nicely lined up against the back wall of the upstair.
"Who the hell are you?" A man says, I turn around and he's holding a dust pan, eyeing me up at down. Why was he in my home?
He was around my age maybe a bit older. He had blonde and brown hair that was styled into a quiff. His eyes were bright green, his eyelashes were long, like known I've ever seen before.
"Alex, this is my house. And you are who?" I say very sarcastically making my way to my room. He follows me in and just hovers around me. "I said who are you? And why the hell are you hovering?!"
"Sorry. Your just very beautiful ya know. Um, I'm Beck. I was hired by your mom, I think, to clean." He said nodding his head towards the stuff in my room. There was a vacuum and a few cleaning products scattered random places.
"You seem to be doing a hell of a job. And nice name." I scoff and laugh at the same time looking at all the food around my room. He looked at his feet, obviously embarrassed. "Where's my mom anyways."
"No clue, she hasn't been here for.. I'd say four days maybe?" He says. "I know she took a hell of a lot of alcohol with her."
"About how much do you think?" I say, my eyebrows knit together in confusion.
"I don't know look at her dresser in her room, there's a bunch of alcohol. And it was about that much." He says walking out of my room. I go to my dresser and pull out a bunch of clothes shoving them in my bag. My makeup was full so I grab it and walk out of my cluttered room.
"So Alex?" Beck says, popping out of the room that me and my mom didn't dare to go in. My fathers old room.
"Why the hell were you in there?!" I yell, slamming the door to the room loudly.
"Your mom says that's the room she wanted clean. For some dude named David." He said his eyes widening in confusion at my sudden outburst.
"Who the hell is David!" I scream, he backs up into the wall as I begin to step closer to him.
"I don't know! I'm just the cleaner, can you chill out!" He says, something burns inside of me as he tells me to "chill out."
"Don't you DARE tell me to chill out! You don't know me or my mother or our story!" I yell, we were about a foot apart as I keep stepping forward as he try's to get away."I'm leaving."
"Okay! I'm sorry if I upset you." He mumbles, I just walk into my moms room eyeing all the alcohol. (picture above.)
I simply laugh and walk down the stairs and out the door, seeing Kian on his phone.
"Kian, there's a guy in there and he's cleaning my whole house for some dude named David." I say opening the door to his truck. He looks up from what looks like Flappy Bird.
"What was his name?" He says rising his eyebrows in confusion. He starts his truck and pulls out of my driveway, heading to his house.
"Beck. Real douche name huh?" I laugh as Kian joins me. He nods as we turn down the road to his house.
"Yeah. Do you mind if my friend JC comes over..?" He says biting his lip as we pull in to the drive way.
"Don't mind at all!" I say kissing his cheek. I walk into the large house, leaving Kian to get Ella.
I go to the bathroom and look at my reflection, slowly brushing my hair. I wonder what JC will be like.
