The Next Day
I woke up in pain today. The feeling of losing someone that you haven't fully lost yet is the worst feeling ever.
I slowly sit up and swing my legs out of bed, I look at the time to see it's 12:30. I get up, brush my teeth and then walk down the hall until I get to the guest room. I quietly walk in and sit down beside Aurora.
I gently brush her hair out of her face. I kiss her on the crown of her head and then I lightly shake her awake. She groans and says, "Give me a few more minutes." I chuckle but get up and out of the room to let her sleep for a few more minutes.
I walk back to my room and shave my face, take a shower and change into formal clothes for the dinner at the Blake/Anderson's house.
I walk out of my room again and go back to the guest room that Aurora's in. I walk in and see that she is spread out on the bed like a starfish. I quietly chuckle as I sit down next to her sleeping body and gently shake her awake.
She opens her eyes and asked, "What time is it?" I look at my watch to check the time and said, "It's 1:30." She looks at me and says, "In the morning? Why are you dressed up so early in the morning?"
I shake my head and said, "It's 1:30 in the afternoon and your family wants us over for dinner today." She sits up and groans, "Do we have to go?"
I nod at her, "Yes, we have to go, you haven't seen your family since we basically got together." She lets out a loud sigh and says, "Fine."
At least she's willing to get up.
She hops out of bed and says, "Shit, I forgot about yesterday." As she grabs onto something so she can stay standing correctly. I hold back a laugh as she gives me the death stare.
I cover my laugh with a cough and then helped her to the bathroom. She does her business and then walks out. She looks at me and asked, "Can you carry me to your bedroom?"
I pick her up and carry her to our bedroom. I walk into the closet and set her down on the chair in there. She looks around and says, "I don't even now what I want to wear. All I know is i'm not wearing a dress." I nod and look through her stuff.
I pulled out a long sleeve brown shirt with white wide legged pants. Then I grabbed some brown heels for her as well.
