A Week Later
I woke up hearing a weird noise. I turn around to Aurora and hear her groaning in pain. I move towards her body to start cuddling her but when I did I felt some type of wetness on the bed.
I sit up and lean over Aurora to see her face since she's faced away from me, I notice she is still asleep. I gently shake her but she doesn't wake up.
I hop out of bed and start to slowly take the duvet off the bed, I toss it on the ground and look at the bed to see blood on Auroras legs and on the bed sheets. I walk into the bathroom really quickly to start the shower for Aurora.
It's only 3 in the morning.
How does someone bleed this much?
I pick Aurora up and she finally starts to wake up. I walk into the bathroom and then set her on her feet. She looks down at her legs that have blood running down them and her eyes widen in shock.
She looks at me tiredly and said, "Please tell me I didn't bleed all over the bed." I look at her and just give her a reassuring smile. She groans in frustration.
"No, I did. Didn't I? Uhh I swear periods are the most annoying things ever." She whines as she takes her clothes off.
I just shake my head at her, "Babe, its fine. It's not that big of a deal." I say not even bothered by the fact she bled on the bed.
Periods are a natural thing, she can't control it.
She looks at me like she's about to cry and I said, "Baby don't cry, it's a natural thing. I'm not even mad, please just go take a shower and I'll wash the bed sheets and put new ones on before you're out."
She nods at me and steps into the shower. I walk out of the bathroom and grab all of the bed stuff. I bring them down stairs to wash and then go back up stairs.
I walk back into my room and then into my closet. I first take my sweats off since they had blood on them then I grab new sheets plus a duvet and I start to put them on the bed.
Once i'm finished I finally lay in bed and wait for Aurora to get done before I go to bed.
