THIRTY-ONE: Separation Anxiety

A Few Days Later

Todays the day I leave California so I can see my college and the team I will be playing for.

Me and Aurora are in my limo at the moment. We have been inseparable since she moved in. I'm not sure how this is going to go with the both of us.

I let my hand resting on her thigh as she tries not to cry.

She might seem dramatic but if I was her i'd be acting the same if she was moving to Pennsylvania without me.

She's not the only one with the fear of separation.

I wipe away her fallen tears, "Baby, i'll only be gone for a few days."

She turns to look at me and says, "Well thanks to me for moving into your house I haven't been away from you for a very long time Juliano... Do you have to go?"

I nod at her question, "I'll be back soon, i'm not leaving you." Once we pull up to the actually airport I got out of the limo and grabbed my stuff.

Me and Aurora walked in. I turn to her and said, "Don't cry over this baby, i'll be back soon." As I pull her into a hug she holds me tight and I could just tell she didn't want to let go but she had to.

Once I pulls away she does to. I then grabbed my suitcase and walked away to get checked in and to get my suitcase checked.

Past To Present

I can't believe he's about to be on a plane to Pennsylvania. This is so scary to me. I won't be with him anymore for the next couple days.

What am I going to do with my life? Will it still feel the same at his house without him even there?

Juliano pulls me into our last hug for the next couple days. I can't stop crying, I don't know how to deal with these emotions.

I've been so emotional lately and I don't even understand why.

It's stressing me out.

I watch as Juliano walks away from me so he can get checked in and get his stuff checked. I walk out of the airport and into the limo. The driver brings me back home as I struggle to keep my self together.

This is all so surreal to me. Juliano is graduating soon. I'm going to be a senior. He will be going to Penn State University for the next 2 or 3 years while i'm left here.

What if he ends up falling in love with someone else? I couldn't deal with that. He means the world to me if that happened I don't know what I would do.

Once the limo stops in front of the Costello estate I got out and walked up to the front door. I wipe my tears and try to put on a happy face before I walk in. When I walk in I see Juliano's mother in the kitchen.

She walks over to me and asked, "Sweetie is everything alright?" I just shake my head as I try to hold back my tears.

Valentina pulls me into a hug and that's when I couldn't hold them back anymore. It hurts to much to even think about him being gone for almost a year. Juliano is the one person who has kept me alive.

As my tears run down my face Valentina wipes them away and says, "He'll be back soon, he won't be gone forever." I try to smile but it was to hard through all the emotional pain I was feeling.

She pulls away from the hug as she walks me to the couch. I look over at Leonardo who is just sitting there in silence reading the newspaper.

He looks up from his paper to see me and he asked, "Why is she crying?" Valentina says, "Separation anxiety." He nods and then goes back to reading the newspaper.

I try to distract myself from the fact of being alone, "Hey, Mr.Costello?" He looks at me and makes a hand gesture as in to continue, "Who is the mafia princess that Alessandro has to marry?"

He sits up in his seat, folds the newspaper up and sets it down as he says, "Her name is Annabelle Martin her father is the French don and we made an arrangement of there marriage when they were just baby's." I nod in interest.

"How soon do they have to get married?" I ask and he says, "Within a month or so but she'll move in here next week." My eyes widen, "Wait What! She moves in here!" He nods but then says, "Yeah but she won't like it here in the beginning."

I lift a brow, "Why is that?" He sighs and said, "She is coming to live with us unwillingly." My mouth makes an 'O' shape once he says that.

Maybe me and her could become friends?

A few hours have passed and I'm currently in the kitchen baking with Valentina and Leo.

We were all dancing and singing. Just having a good time, but then Valentina had to leave for an appointment so me and Leo were left making the cookies and brownies.

We still danced and sang as the brownies and cookies were baking in the oven.

"So Aurora how are you feeling?" Leo asked and I smile, "I'm doing fine, how are you feeling?" He shrugs and says, "I'm not sure at the moment i'm a little numb." I nod in understanding.

"How has training been lately?" I ask as he looks to me, "It's going swell at the moment. Having to fight off multiple men and not getting badly injured is hard. I honestly don't know how Juliano and Alessandro do it." I look at him in shock.

"Wait Juliano had to fight off multiple men while like on a mission?" I ask and he nods, "Yeah i've seen him in action, it's pretty awesome. He's one of the best executioners we have." My mouth drops open, "Wow, so he's like well known for these things?"

Leo nods, "Yup, but no one knows him as Juliano. They all know him as 'Corvo' but in Latin the word Corvus is the same as Corvo and it stands for 'Raven'."

"Why is he named Corvo?" I ask and Leo says, "He is named Corvo because of how well he can survive in certain situations. If you see him in action it's like he has a second sense by how he reacts in a fight 5 against 1. It's pretty cool!" I'm in complete shock about this.

Maybe I don't know Juliano as well as I thought I did.

This is pretty awesome to hear about though.

After me and Leo talked some more until the oven beeps and we took the cookies and brownies out.

I went up stairs to the bedroom and laid down for a little bit. I kinda felt dizzy and i'm not sure why.

So Juliano's assassin name Corvo!

Leo and Aurora finally had a real conversation.

Do you guys think Aurora was being a little dramatic with Juliano leaving??
