Chapter 11

The next day, the Sabha was going as usual. The women were seated in the balcony. Kauravas was seated on the left side of the Sabha while the Pandavas were on the right side. The Sabha was almost finished when Shakuni decides to speak.

S- Maharaj, now that the princes have come back, it would be the right time to announce the Yuvraj he smiled slyly.

D- You are right. So, I Maharaj Dhritarashtra announce...

Drona- Wait Maharaj! You cannot announce the Yuvraj because I want my Guru Dakshina first.

D- please tell what u want?

Drona- Revenge! I want my disciplines to defeat Panchal Raj Draupad and bring his head to me.

Drona explained about his insult.

D- No Guru Drona! Draupad is formidable and experienced warrior. Please ask for something else

Drona was adamant and told that if the princes didn't want to give what he wants, then he will find someone else.

Arjun- Gurudev, we Pandavas will bring u justice.

Hearing this, Drona became happy. 

Duryodhan also says that Kauravas will also give him the Guru Dhakshina.

Shakuni with a sly smile says- Maharaj let them go for the war and whoever defeats Draupad will be the next Yuvraj.

Priya interrupts and says- Sorry to interrupt Gandhar raj, just because any one of the prince's defeats Draupad doesn't make them qualified to be Yuvraj. This is the first war for them after they completed their education. 

Shakuni- Rajkumari, for being Yuvraj, winning a war is important.

P- yes, it is but there are many factors that determine a person for worthy being the next king. Winning a war is just one of them. First let the prince's finish their Dakshina. Maharaj the decision of the Yuvraj can be decided after the Dakshina. 

M- very well. I announce the princes to get ready towards Panchal. The Yuvraj will be decided ones the princes will come back. Court dismissed.

Everyone left. Shakuni gritted his teeth.

In Duryodhan's room

P- Suyo, Draupad is master in Chakravyuh and illusion. You have to coordinate with the Pandavas. I know u don't want to, but u need to. 

D- Ok Didi, if u say so. 

Priya explains the strategy to Duryodhan and Ashwathama. Karna gave some inputs too.

On the other hand, in Pandavas room, Arjun looked at the stones given by Krishna. He wonders about the meaning behind the stones. The Pandavas also made strategies. 

Bheem- I'm sure we will win, and Jyeshta will be the Yuvraj.

Yudh- Bheem don't u remember what Princess Priya said in the court room. What she said is also true. This is our Guru Dakshina. We are doing this to give Gurudev justice.

Bheem became quiet. 

The next day all princes left for Panchal after taking everyone's blessing.

(I won't write about the war. Pandavas and Kauravas together fought and defeated Draupad)

In Hastinapur

Karna was sulking that he couldn't go with Duryodhan but after what Priya said he felt better.

After the princes left, Priya looked for Karna. She knew he was upset that he couldn't go with Duryodhan. Priya saw Karna sitting under a tree. She walked towards him and sat beside him.

P- Bratha, I understand that u wanted to go but this is their Guru Dakshina not yours. You are Parushuram Shishya like me. This is their fight. So stop sulking.

This made Karna smile.

K- You're right.

Priya flipped her hair and said, of course I'm right.

They both laughed.

The princes came back bringing Draupad with them. In the court room, Draupad was brought in with chains around his neck and hands.

Drona said, I just asked you for some cows and u didn't give and insulted me and our friendship. Look now my students defeated u. I will forgive u. I want my son to rule Northern Panchal. Draupad agrees and hugged Drona, but in his mind, he was thinking how to take revenge.

The Rajya Abhishek of Ashwathama was done, and he was made the King of Northern Panchal.

Priya, Karna and all the Kauravas were happy for their friend. Pandavas was also happy.

On the other hand, Kunti was thinking of making Priya her daughter-in-law as she saw how Priya was. She could see that Arjun likes Priya. 

Kunti- I want Priya to marry my son. I have to think a way to propose this in front of everyone.

While Kunti was thinking, on the other hand, Krishna in Dwaraka smiled.

Krishna- Bua let's see whether Priya will be your daughter-in-law.

Kunti wants Priya to marry Arjun.
