Chapter 28

Priya was in her chamber. She can't believe she is going to get engaged with the person she love. She knows that Maharaj has send the letter to Dwaraka and by now everyone knows it. She wrote a letter to Ayodhya stating that about the proposal and to get things ready for her identity to be revealed. Through a pigeon she got answer for her letter from the ministers congratulating for the proposal and that they would do of what she has told.

Priya was busy thinking about how to reveal about her being the Empress. She went to the kitchen and started to make jalebi. Maharani was looking for Priya. She saw Priya making Jalebi's in great speed looking anxious. Maharani went near her.

M- Putri Paro, what happened? You look anxious. What are you thinking about?

Priya came out of her thoughts.

P- Rani maa, it's nothing.

M- No. Something is there on your mind. If you consider me as your own, you will tell me. I guess you don't consider me as one.

P- Rani maa, don't say like that. It's just that I don't know how to reveal me being the Empress. I was thinking to reveal once the marriage is done. 

M- Don't worry Paro. Everything will happen when it has to happen. Don't worry about it. Smile now. You are going to get married. She said smiling.

P- You are right. Uh... Rani maa can u distribute this jalebi's. I made so much. She said with a sheepish smile.

M- I would love to. You give it to Prithvi by yourself. I will give it to others. Ok?

P- Ok. She said blushing.

Maharani took the plate of jalebi's and went away.

P- Paro, you can think about revealing later. I have to give jalebi to Prithvi.

She then took a plate and put some jalebis in it and went towards Prithvi's chamber.

Prithvi was coming back to his chamber after discussion in Darbar. He saw Paro coming. She looked so beautiful. He saw something in her hands. Paro saw him and went to him.

Prithvi- Paro. Where are you going?

P- I was looking for u.

Prithvi- Looking for me. Why?

P- Well. I made some Jalebi's. Try it.

Prithvi- Jalebi. I like Jalebi's. But what's the occasion.

P- I made just like that. Why? Should I have any occasion to make something? She pouted.

Prithvi- No. Just saying. Can I try?

P- Here take it. She shoved the plate to him. 

He then took a piece and ate looking at Priya. 

Prithvi- It's delicious.

Priya smiled blushing and averted her eyes. 

P- I want to tell you something.

Prithvi- Go on.

Priya looked here and there and went close to him. Prithvi was confused. 

Prithvi- Wh... he was stopped by Priya closing his mouth with her palms. Prithvi looked at her confused. She looked at him and again looked around. Seeing no one, she tip topped to his height and went close to his ears and whispered.

P- Thank you for coming to my life. I love you. Saying this she kissed him on his cheeks. Prithvi widens his eyes.

Priya then stood properly and smiled at him. Prithvi was standing still. Priya pulled her hands back and went away. 

Prithvi- What just happened? Did Paro kiss me? He thought. He then smiled.

In Hastinapur

Dushala helped Subhadra with packing her belongings. Duryodhan with Karna and Ashwathama came looking for Dushala to spend time with her. When they didn't see her in her chamber, they knew she might be with the Subhadra, so they went Subhadra's chamber.

D- Dushala, here you are. I was looking for you.

Du- I was helping Bhadra to pack.

D- Pack. Why?

Du- She is going back to Dwaraka.

Duryodhan was surprised.

A- All of a sudden. Is something wrong princess?

S- Well... Priya Didi got a proposal. Brother told me to go to Dwaraka asap.

D/A/K- WHAT? PROPOSAL? They shouted.

S- Why are u guys shouting? And yes, a proposal?

K- From where?

Du- From Malwa. She got a proposal from Malwa for the eldest Prince Prithvi.

A- Malwa! It's a really powerful kingdom. No one has been able to defeat them. 

D- But why didn't Didi tell us. He frowned.

K- Mitra, maybe it's because the proposal happened suddenly. Do u think Paro will keep such a thing from us.

A- He is right. 

Duryodhan pouted. Subhadra saw it and smiled seeing his childish pout. She can see how much he loves her Didi. Who would've thought the person who was considered as bad would be childish. Seeing Subhadra looking at her brother, Dushala nudged her.

S- Ow... why did you do that for? 

Du- I know my brother is handsome but stop smiling like an idiot. She teased. 

Subhadra blushed and saw Duryodhan looking at her. She looked away. Duryodhan saw Subhadra looking at him and felt butterflies in his stomach. Ashwathama and Karna saw the exchange and smirked looking at each other. Their friend is in love. 

All of them went to meet the elders to talk about Subhadra leaving. Subhadra told them about the letter. Arjun looked at Subhadra and felt bad of her leaving. Kunti thought of making Subhadra as her daughter-in-law to gain power, so she asked Bhisma to send Arjun with Subhadra.

Bhisma- Rajkumari Subhadra, I heard that an Asur named Kalayavan is nearby. So, for your safety, let Arjun come with you. Arjun became happy hearing that. Subhadra didn't want that but relented. 

Subhadra took elder's blessings and went with Arjun. She sat on the chariot and looked back at Duryodhan. She gave him a smile. Duryodhan smiled back. He then knew that she was the one for him. He hated the fact that Arjun is going with her but then stopped the thought. He then went inside.

I wrote a small romantic scene b/w Priya and Prithvi, since you guys wanted one. 

I am not going to pair Arjun and Subhadra.
