Chapter 24

In Hastinapur

Subhadra came to Hastinapur to meet Dushala. She was missing her sister Priya so much. So, she thought she will stay with Dushala for some time. Dushala was happy that Subhadra came. She always sees that her brothers missing their Paro Didi. Ever since Priya has come to their life, her brothers have changed for the better. Even she was missing her Paro Did. Now that Subhadra has come, she was happy. Now they were playing hide and seek. It was Subhadra's turn to seek. 

S- Where is this girl? Where could she be hiding? 

She looked around in the garden. She turned to leave when she started to fall. She closed her eyes for the coming impact, but she felt a hand on her waist avoiding her from falling. Opening her eyes, she saw surprised. The person helped her stand properly.

? - Are you ok Rajkumari?

S- Yes. Thank you for saving me Rajkumar Duryodhan. She said.

D- No problem. You here?

S- I was looking for Dushala. We... uh are playing hide and seek. She said shyly.

D- Oh! Be careful. He started to walk away but then stopped and turned back and asked.

D- How is Paro Didi?

S- Didi is not in Dwaraka.

Duryodhan was shocked.

D- WHAT? Where is she then? I should look for her. What if something happens to her. No. Didi can't leave me. He said worriedly.

Subhadra was looking at him surprised. She could see the worry and care for Priya from his tone. She has always heard that Kauravas were a bad omen and the Pandavas to be good as they are Devputras. Priya Didi seems to like Kauravas more than Pandavas as she always spoke about Kauravas especially Duryodhan. Priya always say to her that Kauravas were not bad and that they just need love and true guidance. 

S- Rajkumar. Don't worry. Didi went to meet one of our relatives. She is ok. She spoke.

D- Really? He asked for innocently.

Subhadra nodded with assurance. She smiled seeing him sighing in relief. Ever since she has come to Hastinapur, she has observed how Rajkumar Duryodhan keeps distance from Pandavas and not fight with them. It was always the Pandavas especially Rajkumar Bheema and Rajkumar Arjun that started the fight by taunting them. She felt that the Pandavas especially Arjun were not that good as her brother Krishna says. 

Rather she feels that Duryodhan was better. She came out of her thoughts when she head Duryodhan speaking.

D- Rajkumari?

S- Y... yes. She stuttered.

D- Are you alright?

S- Yes. She blushed slightly feeling embarrassed.

D- I'll get going then. Don't run and stay safe. He went away.

Subhadra looked at him walking away. She walked away smiling thinking about what happened. Dushala came looking for Subhadra.

Dushala- Subbu, where were u? I was hiding for so long. I got worried when you didn't come.

S- Well I was looking for u.

Dushala- Why is your face red? Are u feeling, ok? she asked.

S- I'm fine. She said blushing.

Dushala- OK. She said feeling confused seeing her friend's behavior.
