VAMPIRES AND OTHER CAPTIVATING SUPERNATURAL CREATURES have lived among the human species for centuries. They're someone's daughter, son, spouse or even acquaintances. Sometimes they don't even know their connections towards this lifestyle until it's too late to change their future.
One sip of blood trickling down their throat after awakening from a snap of a neck can destroy them from inside out or it could possibly be the best thing that could ever happen to them. Heightened hearing, smell, taste, speed, healing. The effects can be marvelous just like the taste of the dark red liquid that contains a tang of metal to any regular human but like noted, to a vampire it's like a sweet candy from a thrilling fair. Or a nice bitter coffee with a sweet aftertaste on a cold winter morning. But some of them, prefer the lateral, animalblood. Sure, it makes them weaker but it saves them a trip to the mystic grill for a quick snatch and erase.
But then again, vampires aren't the only supernatural creatures lurking throughout mystic falls small population town as Aurora Sommers was about to discover after a recent encounter with a certain vampire along with new provided information that she was so much more involved in this world then she ever wanted to be.
