15. Fungus

Alhaitham locked the door, smiling when he saw Kaveh lying on the couch.
"Had too much to drink, senior?"
Kaveh groaned: "You know I didn't. I am just tired."
Alhaitham lifted his legs so he could sit down and put them in his lap. Kaveh looked at him with a questioning look, but his partner just took one of the books on the coffee table and began to read. Kaveh scoffed, sat up, and took the book out of Alhaitham's hands.
"Yes, Ka..." his question was muffled by the blonde's lips on his own. Kaveh straddled him, lightly moving his hips, making Alhaitham inhale loudly. The blonde smirked, leaving kisses along his jawline and his neck. He silently moaned Alhaitham's name in his ear before moving away, giving his partner an innocent look.
Alhaitham rolled his eyes while his hands rested on Kaveh's hips.
"If you wanted some attention you could have just said so, you know?" he tried to keep his voice calm as he stared at those gorgeous red eyes. Kaveh chuckled: "You're joking right? I've been sending you signals all evening."
Alhaitham stared at him. So those were not accidental.
Kaveh widened his eyes: "Oh Archons, you weren't sure? My hand was on your..."
Alhaitham looked away, his cheeks blushing. Kaveh wanted to laugh but felt like that would make Alhaitham's embarrassment even worse. He leaned in, peppering kisses on his red cheeks.
"Come on, out with it," he said, his voice soft to encourage his partner.
Alhaitham sighed: "I don't know when you're joking and when you actually want it."
Kaveh thought about it before he spoke: "I didn't mean to confuse you, I just... I enjoy being..."
"A tease," Alhaitham smirked. He sighed again before continuing: "We need a safe word."
Kaveh was confused: "Is this your attempt at flirting?"
Alhaitham rolled his eyes but still chuckled: "No, it's so you have control if I do anything you don't want or if you need us to stop."
Kaveh flicked his forehead: "I know what a safe word is you idiot. I am trying to figure out why you're bringing it up right now."
Before he could flick him again, Alhaitham grabbed his arm, twisting it behind him, while grabbing Kaveh's throat with his other hand and pulling him close. He smiled at his whimpers and softened his grip before he spoke: "Because I would really like to fuck you right now, Light of Kshahrewar."
Kaveh widened his eyes as he felt the tension in his lower body rise. He could feel the heat radiating from his cheeks. They have been dating for weeks and Alhaitham never tried anything until now. At some point, he considered that maybe he doesn't want him in that way, but Tighnari assured him that is not the case.

"Maybe he is just not into sex." Kaveh saw Tighnari roll his eyes as he was removing the bandages. He felt a smack followed by Collei's muffled laughter. Kaveh smiled seeing her in such a good mood. Tighnari removed the last of his bandages as he said, annoyed: "Before you overthink yourself into oblivion, Alhaitham wants you in that way too. But you were injured, ever thought he was giving you time to heal?"
Kaveh wanted to retort when he noticed Collei staring at the table. He signaled Tighnari who walked over and sat next to her, gently taking her hand into his. Kaveh sat on the other side, his hand slowly making circles on her back. Suddenly she began to cry, sobbing in the middle of the two men. Tighnari whispered calming words, telling her she is safe and that she will be ok. After a few minutes, she whispered: "What if I don't want it?"
Tighnari looked at Kaveh in confusion, but before he could ask, she continued: "What if I don't want anyone in that way?"
Kaveh realised what she was asking, guilt crawling into his mind. Did I make her feel like she has to feel these things?
Tighnari answered: "There is nothing wrong with that either. Some people want it and some people don't. Did we make you uncomfortable?"
Collei shook her head and wiped her tears as she answered: "No, no. It's just... There is a girl."
Kaveh and Tighnari stayed silent, giving her time to explain.
"I like her, really. I just don't want, that. But I want other things..."
Tighnari nodded. Kaveh hugged her as he said: "You don't need to do anything you don't want to or don't feel like doing."
She nodded hugging him back: "I like it when she holds my hand. or kisses me."
Tighnari smiled: "Then tell her that. It's important you communicate."
Collei rolled her teary eyes at his lecturing voice but smiled back.
